And i've been drawing more monsters and unnameable creatures lately. it's fun to let myself explore
i've also been trying to understand color, trying to see how it conveys things and how it can look good
you can critique my work if you like, just telling me what is wrong and right with it. (i won't find it offensive, we do this all the time in my art classes)

Amazing! I love the colors and designs!
Though I do think you need to work on diverse body types as well as making sure that characters pop in your pieces. We don't want characters and the backgrounds to have the exact same colors because then we can't differentiate them. Also you might want to start practicing backgrounds to have your characaters be in words as interesting as them!
This is just a friendly critique. Art teachers have told me things like this and I want to help you improve! You are amazing right now, but everyone has space for improvement!
Never give up! You have talent!!
