Greetings!
I'm Tommy Karnerfors, a 28-year old chap from Sweden. I'm a hobbyist artist aspiring to became a professional, with my scope aimed towards the gaming industry. I have been drawing all my life, but quite sporadically until around 2010, when I decided to study and try to make a career of it. I went to study graphic development for computer games through the University of Skövde, which lasted for three years, where I studied pixel, vector, 3D-graphics, animation, storyboarding and the basics of game development.
I'm very found of creating characters, but I would conciser myself as a jack of all trades but master of none, in the most humble way. There is so much to enjoy in the progress from concept to final production, so I find it hard to stay true to one niche. If I were to describe my art-style, I would say that it has always been inclined towards a cartoony style, but has evolved into a style which includes a dark, psychedelic twist, with a subtle humoristic touch.
I have been studying and practicing to draw and paint realistically tough, which I find to be great for increasing versatility and understanding of "how things tick", but my purpose for that have always been to "Know the rules well, so you can break them effectively".
