Hey there! Thanks for faving
.:How To Make A Comic:.• COMICS: Comics are basically short stories told in a more visual way. Even a graphic novel wouldn’t exactly be considered a “novel” because novel is defined by a set word count minimum. If you really have a story you want to write out but can't seem to make it detailed or long enough to be a book, you may want to consider a comic especially if your passion is for drawing and visual things. Making a comic, as I've personally learned, isn’t something you can just go in head first without some kind of plan. I’m not at all a planner so making a comic I could finish beyond one or two pages was definitely a struggle.
• TIME: Making a comic takes time and lots of it. My INVISIBLE comic is sixteen pages plus a cover and it took me about a month and a half to make and that was a bit rushed. Figure if you’re able to work fast, you’ll maybe get ten pages done a month. Mine were full color traditional so if you want to do digital it may take

.:Character Stereotypes To Avoid And Fix:.~Character stereotypes and how to avoid em~
• WHY: Why are stereotypes bad? They are predictable, boring, annoying, cliché, flat, one-dimensional, need I go on? There’s no advantage to a character stereotype. They water down amazing plots and hinder a mediocre story that could become a great one. I’m not saying at all to avoid predictability so much that your character is all over the place, but, avoid complete stereotyping.
• START: For the sake of simplicity in describing your character to someone else, you may want to use some stereotype wording to paint a quick idea. BUT be careful, and show that your character is more than just that. For example my character Cecelia Hazel is a dumb pretty popular cheerleader with powers. But she’s a kind person who doesn't really get mad. She has powers but she is never a good fighter. She tries martial arts but fails at it. From the assumption of the stereotype “cheerleader” you could assume Cecelia and I hope you find it helpful! I have more guides in my gallery too. It would be cool if you watched me to see the new guides I have coming!
