Hi there, I'm CaribbeanRose (formerly Rose74), and welcome to my little space here on Deviant Art! Let's see, a little bit about me...,well, I'm an aspiring writer hoping to get my stories published one day, as I hope to be an author that helps usher in Middle Grade and YA literature with more diverse characters that young readers and identify with and love. I think it's time for popular series to feature characters that any child, whether from Africa, Brazil, China, or India, can see themselves and imagine they are going on exciting adventures with the characters, just like I did when I was younger.

I was original born overseas, but I grew up in New York City...the Bronx to be specific, and I miss it every day I get up. I now live in Pennsylvania, which I completely detest. I do hope to end up back in New York one day. Other than that, I'm just your average person trying to make her dreams come true and practice my writing skills.
