I like drawing OCs in different fandoms I love. I'm kind of a geek as I tend to become completely obsessed over series I like and then spend hours of my time watching and searching all about it. I don't know if you've looked at "Which 'such and such' are you?" quizzes on the Internet lately. I only really do them if I see people I like do them in videos/in journal entries; I'm not a fan of stalking forums for quizzes to waste time on.
This one was the second version of a Devil Fruit quiz. You heard me right, based on a series of "what would you do in this situation" and personal preference questions, you can match yourself with the Devil Fruit (and by extension its wielder) that suits you best. I expected to get the Nagi Nagi no Mi since Rocinante is one of my favorite characters, and it fits the best with my personal needs and my career needs. Imagine my surprise when it turned out my loyalty to my small friend group/family, integrity in word and deed, refusal to engage in unnecessary conflict, and tendency to "think before I act" matched me up with Katakuri and his Mochi Mochi no Mi! You can find it with a quick Google search, or using your favorite search engine. I took it while watching Tekking101 take it as part of a tag from a fellow One Piece YouTuber; we both got the same results, although Katakuri's and my personalities were better matched than his was.

Well I would also have guessed you to be more of a Rocinante, but it is good to see your strong loyalty be noticed by the quiz and gave you Katakuri. I think it is a praise.

Interesting fact I was alerted to today: Marie Delphine McCoffey, better known as Delphine LaLaurie, was born on March 19th in the late 18th century. I remembered that PeroSpero either shared his birthday on that day, or it was pretty close to it; going over the Dracula-Charlotte children's profiles again, I was bemused to see that it was Sakura who shared a birthday with Mme. LaLaurie, not her cunning and sadistic uncle.

Honestly what shocks me the most is that history recorded down and kept the birthday of a serial killer, especially one from so long ago. Just why?

It's no reason to change Sakura's birthday or anything. I like her the way she is, including her birthday.
Even still, the citizens of New Orleans didn't know about her extreme abuse and torture of her slaves, the true depravity of her private life, until there was a fire that nearly burned down her Royal St. mansion. The cook, who was chained to the stove, had started the fire in the hopes that she would suffocate rather than suffer the hand of Mme. LaLaurie, especially in the "forbidden attic room".

As of Episode 871 of One Piece, the fight with Katakuri is over! The combatants fell in a stalemate; Luffy got up first; Katakuri got up temporarily to ask Luffy of his future goals; on hearing Luffy's determination to become Pirate King (even if it was FAR in the future), Katakuri showed the ultimate respect to Luffy's pride as a warrior: falling down on his BACK (Never done that until this point.) where he had fallen on his STOMACH before. Luffy responded in kind by covered Katakuri's face with his fedora that Begs had given him.
Also, have you seen GrandLineReview's videos on all 46 of the Charlotte sons and all 39 of Charlotte daughters? It's great to have as a reference point, and he offers some interesting commentary on each of them, courtesy of Library of Ohara translating the Big Mom family tree trivia from the latest One Piece data book.

AND YES I LOVED IT!!! KATAKURI!!! You did well, you fought hard and you took a stab to your stomach. I really love the dynamic between these two. Both are respectful men that fought till one couldn't move anymore and shows the proper respect to each other.
A part of me is actually kind of curious as to which of them is the stronger one. Sure Luffy did technically win, but Flambe interfered and hurt and distracted Luffy, while Katakuri stabbed himself in the stomach, as a result the both of them didn't get to fight a proper and straightforward fight, since both of them got injuries that the opponent didn't inflict, which could have been a deciding factor for both of them. I mean perhaps Katakuri would have won, if he hadn't stabbed himself in the stomach too, or if Brulee didn't happen to be there to aid Luffy in escaping the fight until his haki returned. I would say that Luffy definitely is more tenacious, while Katakuri has more experience. However I don't know who is stronger, because of all the interference. I really would like to have a match like the one between Franky and Senior Pink, just two guys hitting each other till one is left standing with no interference at all

GLR's French, German and Italian pronunciation is not the best, so I have figured correct pronunciations where I could here: the 18th son is called Lorraine (quiche Lorraine; French); the 15th is Noisette (nuh-wah-zett, French; multiples of three are easily divisible numbers); 12th son is NussTorte (Nuss-tort; German); 22nd son Saint Marc (Seine Mar, French; clinch the 'c' in the back of your throat, and Essence is flavor boiled down to its basics and imbued into water or oils, e.g. rosewater or garlic olive oil.); 24th son is Dacquoise (dack-wa-zeh, French); 26th son is Bavarois (bah-vah-wa, French; people are always getting this one wrong, so don't feel bad); 33rd son is Raisin (ray-zenh; it's likely Oda intended the English pronunciation, but when pronounced the French way, "raisin" is actually the word for "grape".)

Compote, Smoothie (Juicy Juice, 100% Juice for 100% kids!), Citron, Cinnamon, Amande (Our lovely "slow ballad" catrina!), Brûlée (Our witch/tengu mistress of the mirror pocket dimension.), Galette (The Butter-Butter fruit, I think, is one that can coagulate anything, resulting in a gelatin like substance that is neither fully liquid nor fully solid.), Poire (Are those teeth in tribute to Katakuri?), Custard (Wish we saw more of her in the anime; not to mention the dark pink, purple and white color scheme is consistent with her, Cracker and Angel (food cake's) outfits..), Praline (A lovely voice and a unique sense of fashion; though she's a bit scary as a Hammerhead Shark mermaid, she's one of the best supporting characters in the WCI arc.), Pana (Cotta), and Pudding (to some degree) are all my favorite characters among the Charlotte daughters.

I wouldn't know about it except for the fact that I was brushing up on Harry Potter lore, theories and trivia back in October. I think you've seen my journal entry (my last from 2018) about how I volunteered for a Harry Potter event at my local library. Jan. 1st is also a troublesome day as people are at home, recovering from celebrations the night before; today, however, is the birthday of another famous "wizard" by the name of Colin Morgan, who played the title character in the television show Merlin. He turns 33 today.
