I've never seen Chess either. It's almost never put on anymore but the music is a grand listening experience nonetheless and I encourage you to look into it! Not all the tracks are as funky as "Bangkok," but it's still reminescent of the eighties in just that synthesizer way.

Question: I really, *really* want to get a CD of Chess. Which album do you recommend? I've heard the concept is best, but I've only heard covers of the songs...

I recommend the concept one, definitely! The original versions of anything are not always the best, but in Chess' case the original tops all.
