It's cool, many of my friends thinks the same For only 5 years ago I only read manga too, But later these days I haven't find anything to read ( except One Piece ofc, that series will I follow until I die! and maybe after that xD). So I started to look up Spider-man the old tv series and...I really liked it! and then I found other comics ( that aren't marvel ) too, like JTHM, so on. But i gotta admit I really miss reading really funny mangas, I have re-read some and watch my favorite ones...I love comedy, and it's hard to find good ones ;u; So you read alot manga?

I'm amazed that you got into One piece by 4 kids!! Well, even if 4kids ain't the best, you actually discovered one piece by them! Don't get me wrong, I only see it as good thing. I mean. It would have been worse if you only had seen the 4kids tv series and thought it was bad, and then you leave it there and never had the chance to see the real One Piece! ;u; so that accident changed your life xD
I also discovored One piece around the time you did!( Well, except I was 10-11, but you are one year older than me, so it's kinda the same time! )
It was by a DragonBall book, and they few teaser pages of One piece. Me and my sister thought that Shanks and his crew were funny, so we were like "WE MUST BUY THESE BOOKS!". and that desicion changed my life. xD
It's epic to know others that have been following One piece so long!! * Brofist * I know many people out there that have been doing that too, but I haven't got the chance to talk to anybody. ;U;

Yea, I'm kinda ashamed to say it, but for like 3 years I was a huge fan of the 4kids dub because I didn't know any better. But once I saw the sub, I went "fuck that shit" and watched from like water 7 onward till like thriller bark, then around that time FUNimation got One Piece and I went back and rewatched from the beginning with them. And somewhere in there, a friend of mine got me to read the manga, which was somewhere in impel down at this point. From time to time I go look at those comparison videos on youtube between the sub and 4kids and I laugh because i used to adore that version. But as much as I laugh at them now, I am grateful for them because they introduced me to such a great series. (It makes it even more amazing because if I hadn't lost the TV remote on that day, I wouldn't have even considered watching it, but I was upset that day and wanted to watch anything to forget why I was upset. One Piece did the trick because I don't even remember why I was upset anymore. It must have been fate that took my remote, because my life would definitely not be the same if I hadn't watched it.)
I need patience and time to get into something new, or sometimes just enough boredom. And usually, I have time, but no patience, o patience but no time. Meh. My list is slowly, but surely growing.
Pff I won't judge! XD I like it too if the pairing makes sense. (Like, I'm sorry, but ZoSan will NEVER make sense to me. People can like it, but I never will XD) It's funny though because I used to be scared of yaoi, but then my friend introduced me to Hetalia and yea XD Now it's great >:3

same here!! When people introduse me into a new fandom I must either be really bored to start to watch it or they have to force me to see it with them. The best feeling ever though it's to introduce a really good friend to one of your favorite fandoms. xD
There seem to be many in my age in other countries that have this really hate for yaoi. It's embarrassing to tell to other anime people than, 'cause there are so many that hates it. In sweden, if an anime nerd says he/she like yaoi, they just shrugs or just think it's cool. They don't really get disgusted by it. xD

It really is the best feeling in the world XD I've gotten like 5 people into OP, and every time it's the best thing ever to hear their reactions. It never gets boring. The most recent one was a guy I work with, I told him prepare for sad stories, and he kept saying things like "Meh, that was okay," "It was kinda sad but I didn't cry." and then he got to Merry's part and he was so upset omg. It was the funniest thing ever because he was so confused, he was like "What the fuck is going on? I haven't shed more than one or two tears since I was like, 13, why?! I lost the love of my life and didn't shed a single tear, WHY?! This is ridiculous, it's a boat. Why are these tears streaming down my face." I was laughing, but crying at the same time.
I used to be scared of yaoi because at the time I was still innocent. It took me a while to grow up, more than normal people, and I'd heard that yaoi had some not so innocent things, but I eventually grew out of that and now it's awesome XD
ZoSan just doesn't make sense to me, no matter where you put it. I'm sorry, but Sanji likes women, and no amount of character tweaking can change that because it is a major part of his personality that can't be ignored. Plus he hates Zoro's guts. That's just me though, no amount of convincing will ever make me ship them.
My favorite ships in OP are ZoLu and LawLu, and possibly a little Sabo and Luffy too > u < Oh, and Coby and Helmeppo are adorbs too

But I totally understand that guy ( and feel a bit sorry for him. the frustration!! xD ) I mean who haven't cried to that part!? ;u; But one of the most saddests moments that torn my heart apart was the seperation between Luffy and his crewmates. That's one part with the one piece anime that I don't like!! From a totally okay animation to a animation that looks like crap. XD ( But that part you mentioned wasn't the worst, we had it worse ) I really longing for the One Piece OVA to come some day. I mean, now Dragonball has it's own OVA!! But that's gonna take YEARS after One piece have ended. ( But I don't want one piece to end ;u; ) The sad part is, if they gonna make an OVA, are they gonna take all the awesome extra parts too in the anime?? 'cause that would be sad, kinda. IKR? Idk, I'm very particular with animation, and if it just looks flat out lazy, it irks me. The other thing that killed the anime for me was the filler/ dragging out moments. That drove me absolutely NUTS Especially in the more recent arcs. It was worse around the War/ timeskip. I just plan on watching the anime when to hear Sabo's big boy voice.
I am at a very big dilemma with the ending of One Piece because I don't want it to end, but I wanna know how it ends too. But all good things must end, I guess. I just know I'll be crying like a maniac when that day comes. Mostly because that series is my life rn, but also because I'm expecting a kinda sad ending. My theory for the end is Luffy's execution as Pirate King. As sad as it is to accept that, it's really fitting in a way because that's how the series began. I say this because there are several instances where Luffy's life has been shortened, like when he used Gear Second Blueno told him that he was shortening his life, I think even Lucci said something like that too. When he was in Impel down, Iva said his hormones would take some years off his life. It's just been hinted at too times to ignore.
Pff If I ever get off my lazy ass and go looking for Fanfics I will. I'm weird with fanfics because I usually only read ones people recommend to me. I like to read them, I'm just not very optimistic about searching for them unless I'm in the rare mood to do so.

Same here, you don't want it to end, but you know it has to be an end. Me and my sister have also have thought of that ending, seeing Luffy executed like Gol d roger was. IT'S OBVIOUS ENDING, AND IT WOULD BE THE BEST ENDING, I BELIEVE. But it's really sad at the same time. ( But it doesn't have to end that way either, but most likely it will. but HOW we come to that end is an diffrent story ).
But I never thought about that " he shorten his life " was a peek to his ending. There was something I noticed when Oda talked about Roger's death somewhere near the beginning. "He had an incurable disease and gave himself up to the marines." What if Roger was the same way? What if he did many things that caused his life to shorten, and his life was coming to an end. But he never finished what it was he found out about the world, so he gave himself up in order to start a new age of piracy. Forgive me, I'm writing this as I just woke up so this probably doesn't make sense hah) But the thing that caught my attention was the fact that he had an incurable disease for some reason, but appeared perfectly healthy still. Idk.
Omg me too, me too. This series has molded it's way into my life, and to see it go will be like losing a friend, especially if Luffy dies.

Law is in the manga too. And he's chained to a chair that's flying all over the place, more amusing than anime law that probably has crap filler thrown in XD Like I said, I just want to watch the episode where Sabo comes back so I can hear his voice and probably cry IF Toei animated it right and has good music. I'm sorry, but 30 minutes of content that barely takes up 1 chapter at the most is just way too boring after you've read the manga. I wouldn't be against the idea of Toei going on a small hiatus just so they don't have to pull bs like this. if they could go back to the days of good pacing and barely any fillers, I would be happy because rn it's just too painful to watch them butcher the series.
I vaguely remember it somewhere near the beginning. It was either in Loguetown or said by Crocus at the Twin Peaks. Oh, that's what I forgot (Sorry, my brain doesn't function well after just having woken up lol) I don't think Roger actually had a disease. I don't know why he would call it that, but I think the disease thing was just his way of saying "I'm going to die soon and there's nothing anyone can do to prevent it." or maybe this disease was caused by something he did, like for instance, let's just imagine Luffy's gear second, because that is one of the instances where his shortened life was mentioned. What if, somewhere down the line his heart can't handle that anymore and is tearing itself up? It could be something like that, I think. It might not happen RIGHT at the end, but maybe in a few years when Luffy is a bit older. I don't think he's going to die right after the big war at the end that Oda mentioned, I won't be satisfied until we see them visit everyone again. I don't think Luffy will be executed until he's in his late 20's, or Roger's age whatever that was. But I definitely think the series will end with his execution after he gives himself up.

That's awesome!! How's it in Texas? I have actually been to United states before, 2 times! But not in Texas, in Georgia and San Digeo. Both times I visited conventions xD The people are very friendly. I heard it's diffrent from state to state, but the people we met were extremly friendly. We know Luffy is going to meet shanks again, but I don't think Luffy will give the hat back. Given that Luffy's title is "Strawhat Luffy" it'd be weird if he didn't have a strawhat anymore. I think Shanks will tell him to keep it because in a way it's like the pirate king's crown since Roger had it too. I actually think Luffy is going to duel Shanks. I've always thought this, but people have called me crazy, but look back at Punk Hazard. Luffy tells Law he's going to defeat ALL 4 YONKOU! Last I checked, Shanks was a yonkou. He may not fight to the death, but I think Luffy will definitely duel him at least. And when Luffy wins that duel and tries to give Luffy his hat back, Shanks will say "Keep it, it's the hat fit for the pirate king. You've earned it." or something like that. I actually have a crazy theory about the hat in the end. If Luffy is executed in the end, Sabo will inherit the hat. Can you imagine Sabo handing the hat off to another kid? "This hat means a lot to me, so take good care of it, alright? And bring it back to me someday when you've become a great pirate." Think about it, that hat would be the last remaining treasure he has of both of his brothers, it would take one heck of a kid to send it off, like how it was with Shanks.
A lot of people love Texas, but I am not one of those people xD; I'd do anything to get away from here (but we are moving to Florida hopefully soon so that wish may be fulfilled. Florida is so much nicer, lots of beaches that are clean. We have one beach here and it's nasty.) It's hot and humid like 75% of the time and there's no breeze to cool it off, the people are rude for the most part, traffic is usually always horrible. It's just a mess. Lol from the sounds of Sweden, I'd fit right in xD;;

First I thought NONONONONONO and though a battle between shanks and Luffy would be like so sad, but when I think it twice...It would be actually epic. And it's not impossible that they would have a fight. I don't think Luffy and Shanks would actually fight aggressively. I think it'd be more of a duel. I can imagine Shanks saying something like, "So you think you've become a good enough pirate to give that hat back, huh? Show me," Luffy would never be able to kill Shanks because he saved his life D: And when Luffy wins, Shanks will tell him to keep the hat because "It's a fitting crown for the pirate king." That's how I picture it anyways.
CAN YOU IMAGINE IT THOUGH?! The very last panel, Sabo is placing the hat on a sniveling kid as he departs from the village. and when a member of his crew asks him why he decided to give that kid his precious hat, he'll say "That kid remind me of a brother I had." Or something like that and then the series ends with a close up on the hat and says "He's going t go far in this world." My like from like middle school all the way through high school was just awful. High school here is about the same age, maybe a year apart, I can't remember, I'm 21 now, so it's been a while. I don't normally tell people this, but I have a mild mental disorder called Aspergers Syndrome. I can still function day-to-day, but I have horrible social anxiety and my mind tends to obsess over things for some reason (I'm 21 and still don't entirely understand it) And going through school with this was really rough. People constantly bullied me because they knew I was too shy to fight back. People pretended to be my friend just to spread rumors about me. People I actually called my friends abandoned me because they found out I was "crazy." I never really had many friends growing up, there are two that I can think of who stuck with me throughout all my schooling, and still continue to stick with me today. But you know, for someone who was kicked around and beat down constantly throughout school, just a couple of friends wasn't enough. And at home, my sister was going through a depression phase, so my parents gave her all the attention, never paying any mind to me. In fact, they would often punish me for nothing just to make her feel better. They forced me to give her my stuff, and to include her in everything she did. And it turns out in the end, she was just faking it to get attention. So for like 10 years, I had almost no one to turn to. Thats about the time I discovered One Piece (back then I was in middle school, so it was the 4kids dub.) I really liked the show as a kid, and thought it was fun and adventurous, and often I would find it drowned my sorrows away. It wasn't until high school when it kinda saved my life in a sense. I was so fed up with being bullied and not having any friends to turn to, that I often considered ending my own life. But this was the time I discovered the sub, which was in enies Lobby at the time. I watched Robin's flashback, and the moment she said "I want to Live!" and I realized that I related to her so much, and dying was not the answer. After I re-watched the whole series how it should have been watched (aka not 4kids lol) I looked to Luffy for guidance. I saw how he would do anything for his friends, and how people just seemed to like him, so I strived to be almost just like him. And I'm glad I did because I met some of the nicest people that way who are truly my friends. One Piece taught me that no matter how rough my life was, there was always some good in it, and if not, there was going to be. I will support One Piece to my grave for that reason. (Sorry, life story is long, but I hope you don't mind me sharing ><)
I...I wouldn't mind a Law one either... He's pretty sexy too >u> But Sabo would be ultimately better. I don't know, I just always felt this connection to Sabo ever since he was introduced. To me, he's the most relatable character in the entire series. He's not an orphan, his parents aren't wanted Criminals,or ex-marines... He's just an average kid in the story. Noble, but still average. And even still, he manages to be different. He sees the corruption of his country when he's still a child. He hates the thought of a preplanned life, forever confined between four walls, forced to do what someone already planned. And I admire him because he had the strength to break free. It cost him a lot, but he did it. Something I was, and never will, be able to do. If that makes sense.

YES. IT WOULD BE ONE OF THOSE GOOD ENDINGS, LIKE IN A VIDEO GAME " GOOD ENDINGS". nO don't say that, I love to hear others theories, espacially One piece theories! It's even fun to hear stupid or retarded one piece theories...xD Me and my sister sometimes discuss some one piece theories, but mostly after we have read a chapter we come up with conclusions what will happen next. xD and it's fun to see later if your theory was true, half true or completely wrong! :'D
oh no I hate that decision I know exactly how it feels. I have never moved far away yet.. but this autumn I'm going to study in a university. and it's far away from where I live now. Which is nice, but the same time I'm not gonna see my boyfriend for a while ( I think my friends and family can survive without me. huehuehue. I will miss them though.)
But I believe Texas - Florida is a longer trip though ( I just googled it ehehe ) like 20 hours with a car?? omg it seem so far away... So I shouldn't say anything xD 'cause for me it will be like 6- 8 h with a car ( but it is still not like you take that long trip everyday. ) Why does everything have to be so far away?? goddammit. I hope things work out for you ;m;
SAME SAME SAMe. omg I thought I was the only one!! xD you kinda feel a...mini connection between the person and you. and most one piece fans I know are really friendly.well, I know some that have a bad side too. but mostly good. Now I don't mean I trust you only 'cause you are a one piece fan, more like, as you said, we understand eachother. I'm glad too! It's so awesome to find another person that you can truly connect with
Shit. I feel really sorry for you to hear what horrible things you have been through. ...I can't even imagine how it would be like if one of my siblings did that to me. It sounded really awful. But I'm really glad that you stayed strong, all that time!! It made you to who you are today, and a much stronger person too!! ( well. that's how I like to think to myself x) )
One Piece also gave me hope and strengh, and Luffy was the one who I always looked up to, too: He was always happy and cheerful! <3
