how you fakemon dont have outlines.
it is just the color of the body.
so i guess the process of getting that.

Your style is pretty similar to mine already. Just don't put outlines on your shapes, like you did with that picture of Comet, and see how that looks for your other monsters. The trick with my style is making the pokemon look 3D even if the shapes are all flat. The only places you'll run into trouble will be where shapes of the same color overlap. It's up to you how you deal with that.
[link] - This guy is made of metal. His body, arms, legs, and cannon are all cylinders, so I used highlights to define certain places and give him the feeling that he is round.
[link] - In this one, I made Upspring's body and tail very slightly lighter because you couldn't see the front legs. I did the same thing with Sprysir's legs that are farther away. That way you can clearly see the difference between one leg and another without using outlines.
Other times, I use a slight gradient, which is useful for arms in situations like your Pengwar - [link] - where the arm is over the body (I sort of do it here - [link] ). If you give the arm a gradient going from top to bottom, you can make the shoulder area the same blue as the body and the hand area a tiny bit darker. That way you get the illusion of an outline, and it looks like the arm is closer to the "camera" than the body. And always, if you want to use shading and/or highlights to show form, you can do that, too.
Also, showing Comet from the side like that makes it look flat. If you try drawing it from an angle, like a 3/4 view, you could see that its mouth actually has a curve, which would make Comet's body look like a sphere rather than a 2D Pacman.

yeah you did a great job. and thanks for the watch. i want to make a mini gen with your style. i have been thinking about that for a couple weeks. glad you like though, and thanks for puting time into this, it really helps alot.
(as for comet, i made him when i was 8, i have a couple renderings of him in different views, but i usually draw him like that...it is purposeful)
BUt thanks again for the great feedback, ill keep a watch on ur stuff, and let you know when i really like something, i would be awsum if you see anything you like, or have advice for to let me know.

It's always good to experiment with different styles as long as you use the experience to help you develop your own style. It's always worked well for me

thanks, its great ot have someone interested. im not the best detail artist, and i cant draw sugamori, so i usually just draw until i like the draw. i will prolly start working on the new fakemon in a week or so! glad youre watchin, thanks!!!
