Hum...how can I explain it? Affiliates are a way to make someone advertise you while you advertise him/her, if you look at my page you'll see in my info I have one affiliate (I just started to look for them today xD), that deviant will always be there and if someone visits my page they will see my affiliates and can visit other adoptions agencies. 

It's really similar to group affiliates, #Adoptapedia has an affiliates box if you'd like to check it out as an example. That's it And also, if you have any contest or your customs are open or whatevs I could advertise them in a journal for free. Affiliates are also a good way to say which adoption agencies or accounts are safe ^^
