# About me
I'm not terribly fond of labels, but I've more or less settled on an identity of 'writer,' with a substantial side of 'nerd' and 'fangirl.' I'm a sucker for a good book, a bad pun, a cup of tea, and a British accent. (And when I say British, that extends to Scottish and Welsh.)

I dreamt about you and your family last night. It was actually a continuation of a dream I had a few nights ago.
It was a really long dream, but the gist of it is that you and your family are some kind of supernatural breed, and that cheesecake fixes everything.
Oh, and ducklings can be caught by toes.

So, today at Barnes and Noble, I stumbled across a Doctor Who display. Amidst this wonder, I found and purchased one of these: [link]
I was at first highly worried because I have two other mugs, one that says 'Keep calm and drink tea' and one of TARDIS blue and covered in butterflies that already vie for my loyalty, but my sister pointed out I can actually use more than one mug. I somehow got on the subject of tea verses coffee, and decided that coffee should only be drunk hot in it's purest form. Sans cream or sugar. So, I then decided to force this view onto Ianto and combined with his and my intense passion for 007, decided Ianto would order "Hot Coffee; black not creamed." So. Yes. That's what you missed whilst I pretended to have a life in the real world. By going to a book store and freaking out over Doctor Who. Loudly. In the middle of the store.
I should NOT be allowed in public.

I was tempted to buy a 'Keep Calm and Don't Blink' mug from a comic book shop in Cardiff, but they don't travel well, and we have more mugs than we know what to do with. I'm both a coffee and a tea person much in the same way that I'm both a cat and a dog person, but I never got the hang of drinking either in their purest form.
So I squealed a bit over a TW magazine with stuff about Jack and Ianto, we bought some DW magazines and I introduced the guy at the counter to TvTropes. Then we discovered a random Dalek outside a fancy dress shop in a shopping arcade nearby. As memory serves, I gave a very dramatic gasp and sort of... bounced up to it.
I don't think either of us should be allowed in public. And don't worry, the Doctor shouldn't either. (Want to help me come up with grocery store/other public place shenanigans for the boys?)

My father's favorite thing to tell me whenever I get a new mug is "The cabinet is not a TARDIS." I now tell him that the cabinet might not be, but it now holds a TARDIS.
Random Dalek? EPIC.
Shenanigans with the boys sounds quite fabulous, love. And I agree- the Doctor should not be allowed in public. Alas, he practically rules humanity because he's superior and our saviour so often.

This is a Second Star to the Right comment. I watched Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks with some friends and paid attention to all dialogue and realised that Tallulah says "I shouldve realised...he's into musical theatre." About the Doctor. IMPLYING THAT HE IS GAY. This would be especially fantastic with Ianto in the mix. They're gonna get shipped together (If I have my way )! Just putting that bug in your ear.
Actually, that sounds really gross. So just planting that seed in your mind.
THAT'S STILL GROSS! I'm just sharing my feelings.
That's not terribly gross. Unless you're a Dalek. Then it's just wrong.
...And gross things could be wrong. And Wrong things could be gross.
Okay, I'm done now.
NOPE! I lied.
Last thing: I love you and I think about you basically all the time. You're basically my best friend. But I think of you more like a sister.
NOW I'm done.

I was in the middle of a big long reply and my internet crashed!
I love the line about musical theatre! It's even better than 'on the other bus.' I've avoided pairing them off, but it's fun to have the other characters shipping them. (Tallulah kept noticing the way Ianto would look after the coat, and I bet Ten and Martha were both really worried about him when he got kidnapped, so she may have picked up on that.) Or to have them just being cheeky about it (Martha)
I'm surprised, though, you told me you hated Ianto/Ten
By the way, you know how in Utopia Ten hands off his coat to Jack? I'm thinking of making the boys have a bit of tug-of war over the coat, until Ten gets his lecture.
Also, LOVED the history of character names, that was brilliant! The only thing I really knew about Saxon's name was that Mister Saxon was an anagram of Master No. Six, but the last Saxon King, Harold? That's way better.
Also: SYFY ALICE! You love it too?! I've spent the better part of two years with an obsession only partially eclipsed by the Whoniverse. And it's hardly gone since I have the crossover in the works, and I can't wait to share it with you!
Also: I think you're brilliant and amazing and I absolutely adore you to pieces and am honoured to be your sister and best friend.
I love you!

I hate having them actually shipped together, but the implied is fabulous. I have so many ideas surrounding Daleks in Manhattan and Ianto. So many. Alas, fanfiction is not really my strong suit.
Tug-of-war. Jack and Ianto. Oh my goodness. So many possibilities.
I love SyFy Alice so much. I watch it basically no stop when I draw/do some sort of crafty thing because I know it so well, but it is fantastic motivation for me because if I concentrate during the parts I don't especially love, I can watch all the parts I do.

This is because I was overwhelmed with love for you and thought I should share. I love you so so so so so much, Cariad. More than sunshine and carnival glass, which is way a lot. I think they're the most beautiful thing, but they pale in comparison with you. <3

I saw this post and got that warm fuzzy feeling, like tea and fleece blankets and buttered toast.
Thank you, cariad, you put a smile on my face today. I love you too!

Tea and fleece blankets and buttered toast...that's how I spent my day! (As they are fantastic and comforting, especially when one's throat is sore. I'm honored to give you such a feeling.) I find it remarkable how many things you unknowingly say that connect to my life in some way. It amazes me every time it happens.
