Hello fellow Deviants.
I've always loved photography in that a photograph is akin to that moment in between the time you've taken in a breath and are just about to exhale it. It is a pause, a chance to reflect on what you observed, or thought you observed, in a given moment. Life, or more specifically our sense of time, often seems to proceed at a blindingly fast pace. The clichΓ© "not enough hours in the day" stands as accurate. A photograph can reach into the recesses of our minds and bring back memories and feelings. Maybe that is the true art of photography, the way it can keep us connected to our history and to also inspire us to keep moving forward in this absurd World.
