# About me

I am a public affairs specialist for the National Guard. I love being a soldier and sharing my experiences with the world through my lens.

I should probably clarify that I'm technically not a combat camera MOS for those who know about such things, but it's my nickname at the unit because I kept doing slightly reckless things to get my shots.

I also study photojournalism now and take photos of happy pretty things instead of explosions. They're okay too I suppose.

USING MY PHOTOS:
All my military photos are considered public property, which means that even though they're mine I can't really stop anyone from using them or selling them or doing whatever they like with them and I can't actually sell them or copyright them myself.

So feel free to use them but I would love you a whole lot more if you'd please at least let me know when/what you use them for. Thanks!

If it's a non-military photo those are copyrighted and mine, so you'd better be getting my permission first.

Meh. Out of our group only a handful are "busy". But the other team? They definitely have some good stuff released. But it's starting to all look the same. search for Coty Kuhn. He's getting alot of it. The Regiment FB page loves his stuff.

It's somewhat hard to feel talented when your job is to take photos for a handful of people to see, and that's mainly it. Actually, scratch that. It is hard to feel talented when I take a photo and immediately know that I should have done it much better.
