# About me

I'm a student and have previously been a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator. Now I'm a CA Department of Justice licensed Firearm Safety Instructor, funnily enough. I love working with animals and different mediums.

What else... I'm a vegetarian; I believe in animal rights; not very religious, but spiritual; engaged to Allen (whom I've been with since October 2002 - since we were 16!); i have 5 cats and 2 dogs; etc. 11/2016----this year I lost my Eben. My rock. He'd been my constant companion for almost 20 years. I've never known such heartbreak. I've never lost anyone-anyone/and feel like I've lost part of myself; my soul. We also lost Atari to old age... he was with us almost as long as Eben. Haley passed. Massive is gone.... we now have the kitties: Davey (2003), Moach (2005), and spunky little Zooey (2016); and old Ella (Fitz) Fitzgerald; the cockatiel Sam... he showed up on our doorstep demanding sanctuary...
While they like to eat my paintbrushes, walk through wet paint-you name it.. they inspire me to get back into this lifestyle and get myself back.
