Hello dear Trevor
I just noticed that you'd slipped off my Watch-List
DA seems to have a nasty habit of making our friends disappear from our lists, and sometime it's easy not to realize for a while.
I've complained to DA lots of time about this problem, but nothing is ever done about it.
Anyway, no prob, I am re-adding you now and
s Thelma.

Hi, Imajicus told me he used some of your M3D params where pi was used as a value. Wes there any particular mathematical reason for using pi, or just for fun?

Great question!! To be honest, it is purely a habit I formed over the years. I tend to use pi/golden ratio, and Fibonacci primes a lot while testing formulas and creating images. It does bring interesting results at times. Mathematically, there would be very little correlation with the formulas other than random coolness, however there's most definitely a few exceptions where it would play in perfectly. In my humble opinion when it comes to transforming a formula what better than using proven aesthetically pleasing numbers LOL

Agreed. I shall try. From my experience in fractals, the most simple figures are often the best, like 2, 3, -1, 0.5, -1.5, etc...

I have to ask how your exhibit went in Paris. That sounds like quite the amazing experience!! I've been keeping an eye out for a journal entry. So happy for you!

It went well, thank you. That was not very ambitious, but expectations were overachieved. I sold 13 pictures and got TV coverage on French number 1 news channel!

Hi, got your page from a link on another site -- There was comment on importing Apophysis parameters into Ultra fractal. Do you have any advice in exactly how to go about achieving this. Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated , thanks.
