Awesome! Let me know what you think about it. I believe it's fairly well balanced and written, with input from both good and bad people in the meat industry. It illustrates what I try to explain to people who ask why I'm vegetarian: I'm not against eating meat (I do miss a good filet mignon every once in a while), it is the modern practices of the meat industry I have a problem with.

The book is really good and I see why you recommended it to me. While I'm not yet a vegetarian I at least try to eat less meat now... Maybe some day I'll make it to the point where I'll stop with this stupid habit. For now I'm still living with my parents which means they create the meals - which include meat.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Like I said, it doesn't necessarily have to be about eating meat, just being smart about where you're getting it from. At least now you're more aware of what you're eating. In a better world, I'd be fine going back to my favorite meal-- Filet Mignon, rare, with grilled onions and shrimp, but that's a world I doubt I'll see in my lifetime.
