Indeed I have; unfortunately, it is still in a semi-finished state - I am still thinking of ways to make it a bit more chaotic by adding a cultist or two, and odd tidbits.
Love your gallery, by the way. Particularly colour composition, and how you use washes. How you would not mind if I adopt some ideas!

Yes in think shading with color helped me improve a lot. If you shade red with black it just becomes brown and dirty. But shade with green and you get a very vibrant effect and real depth
