3dRealms went bankrupt and is getting sued

This is bad, very bad. That means DNF could be canned, unless Take 2 finds someone else to finnish it.
Take 2 is sueing 3dR because they where promissed a finnished game, and 3dR hasn't delivered. Most likely they will get the rights and find a new developer. If not, then Duke nukem is done, there will be no more games.

Take 2 is trying to get the rights to Duke Nukem right now, they are sueing for that since 3dR has no money.
There are people petitioning T2 to try and get Valve software to finnish DNF. If this actualy happens, it won't be so much of a loss since I am confident Valve will be able to carry on Duke's legacy.
Take 2 seems like they are doing the right thing for the right reason. They want to see DNF done just as much, if not more than the fans do. It is one of the most anticipated games of the decade.
It's just realy sad that 3dR went dead. There is alot of history in that company, they are one of the fathers of modern FPS along with Monolith and ID Software. Without them, gaming just won't be the same.
This is the first casualty of the next gaming industry crash. This one is happening alot like the last, bad games and bad decisions leading to games not being released.
