Hi there,
Coming this August the 16th is 's biggest and best DevMEET of the summer and we hope you can attend! We will be heading to Centre Island to hang out, check out the petting zoo, going out to eat and exploring the island. It's an all ages meet; come by yourself or with a friend if you like, everyone is welcome!

Thanks for the feedback. I was a big comics fan in the old days, so it's been a fun project to get involved in. But trust me, the line art looks extraordinarily plain when you compare it to the painted finished product.

I got some projects that i want to do in S.sculpy but i didn't manage too start them yet.

Once you get used to sculpey or similar bake clays, it's like easy-mode compared to non-setting stiff clays, to be honest. You can work small sections, toss the piece in the oven for a few minutes at about 3/4s of the recommended temperature, and that area is set now- no worries about mucking it up with a stray tool.

yes I know. I did one two years ago, It was almost finished but when it was in the oven i was distracted by a phone call. I over cooked it...
Maybe I'll redo it sometime.

wow! i love your work! i love scuplting myself, but im in my element with a kiln, ill hav to try it with that sculpey ur using, looks good!

If you're considering defecting from kiln clay to sculpey, I'd recommend starting off with a block of the firm sculpey (dark gray in color). It might easy the transition, and reduce the cursing from whole sections of clay that decide to shift spontaneously.

lol yeah ill try that next time, already too late tho since i went out on a random shooping spree tonight and bought the super sculpey stuff haha...and i already tried making my first creation out of it, during which i couldn't keep an arm in the air where it needed to be and the torso kept sinking to places unknown...but despite all that, i think it kinda turned out alright, even tho i learned the hard way =] i shouldve checked my messages b4 i did it, wouldve saved me all that cursing, like you said...so maybe wen i post it u could check it out and let me know some tips on how i couldve made it better or something??? thanx for everything!
