You have a wonderfully decorative style...like a contemporary Klimt!
Do you ever work in stained glass? I'd imagine your work would translate well in this traditional medium, giving it a modern twist. I can also imagine how beautiful modern textiles would look with your artwork as the printed design...a rich decorative pattern, but with a story to tell. Wonderful gallery of work!

unfortunately the painting is already gone. The better ones sell sometimes surprisingly fast. I could do you a similar one - if you wish
Regarding getting it to Madrid - no problem at all. Normally I send them by mail - like a normal letter. Is by fat the cheapest solution and so far they always arrived.

Hi i saw your painted door and i would ask you a thing..
How did you draw the design on the door?
I have to paint a huge flower on a door and wanted to know how to draw ..
Someone told me about "technique of dusting" though the door is lacquered!
Please help me! you are so great!

mhh, I painted the doors freestyle - with a pencil straight on the wood.
I guess the easiest to paint a huge flower would be to use a projector.
You can also use the raster technique - using small squares reproducing them in larger scale.
Since the door is lacquered why don't you just try out chalk - like in school.
You can play around as much as you want until you have the right design and then you paint it.

If I remember well, first time I came across your work was at a bar at the top level in the Plaza in Sliema - must have been quite a few years ago. I've always been keen on your work too - it's so vibrant and there's so much energy.

Have you been to Malta? I know one or two Americans who are here - they have Maltese roots and kind of came back

To answer your question, yes I was living in Malta for 10 months between October 2007 and July 2008.
I am hoping to be back this summer, provided that my research proposal is funded.
Malta is such an amazing and inspiring place to be, sure there are problems like anywhere else, but I personally found it to be incredibly fascinating and enjoyable.
Anyway, good luck for your future plans, and please keep posting!
