Ahhhhhhhh I stumbled upon your poetry from your old account but was disappointed that there was no recent activity because I really related to your style of writing. I then saw your journal entry about this account and was shook when I looked at your interests and saw Infinite (and Kpop in general) listed under the music catorgory, because not only do I like your poetry, but Infinite is my overall favorite group and finding their fans is so difficult in the US!

Love infinite! Got to see them twice in concert in California and felt so blessed to do so. In fact, other than KCon, Infinite was the first solo tour I was ever able to go to!

It's great that you were able to have that experience!!! I ended up buying Infinite's world tour merchandise to stave off the depression from missing both of their world tours xD. (it's alright, I think that old, emotional poetry has a unique kind of honesty to it, and it can be fun to look back and see how perspectives have changed).

I really enjoyed looking through your page. I'm not even a huge Kpop fan, but I did a sketch for my daughter and was looking for a group to post it in when I came across your work. You have it down when it comes to drawing beautiful boys! You have such a skill with drawing skin and hair and I love the white on black paper ones really well. I'd loves to see some works in progress with your charcoal. I've never been very good at controlling it like I can with graphite, so I'd love to see how you do it if you are interested in giving tips.
Also who cares if you don't free hand for proportions? I use a grid for proportions and think it's easier to get a better, more realistic result. After all Michelangelo used a grid and no one thought he was cheating!

Thank you for the link. I watched a few of your videos and enjoyed them very much. I'm inspired to attempt working with charcoal, especially since you can't really get a true black with graphite, which is my preferred medium. I really enjoy the dramatic effect you get with the white/light on black paper.
I'm interested in how you do the outline sketch before you begin rendering everything else. I like to use a grid and even made myself an apparatus that lets me use thread as a grid rather than drawing the grid in as I have always done. It keeps the drawings way cleaner. I've only just used it one time and that was on my latest drawing, which happens to be of a Kpop guy that my daughter likes. I found your work looking for a group to put it in

Many times I've used direct graphite transfers. It's basically transferring an outline - so you place graphite on the back of a paper and draw on the front of it so that the graphite transfers onto your canvas. I do that for small pieces and then the grids for larger pieces.
