She is a fallen angel (and a hunter)and like Anna she has forgoten about the fact that she was an angel to begin with. Somehow she manages to continue to show up in the Winchesters cases which is...pretty suspicious.She helps them out later in a case and kind of becomes an honorary Winchester.
