Hey hey hey, it's cool. ^^ My friends and I all speak at least one other language besides English, and I myself am going to learn at least two or three besides English...so we all have the odd habit of randomly putting in words into our conversations. Half the time, we have to stop and ask each other what they mean so we're clear, because they speak Spanish (and that's all they really want to learn; learning any more would take too long for them), and I speak French; I also know slightly more Japanese then they do (none of us speak it, unfortunately, but we know words and honorifics and all that--more or less; I'm the one to typically get it correct. THey just choose one they like, since they can't keep them straight. ).... so well all have really weird-sounding conversations. Seriously, if you listened to us, a greeting would go something like this on a typical day...

Cris: "Ne ne, Meggy-sensei, Meggy-sensei!! Como estas?"
Me: "Eh, bien, merci Cris-san! Et toi, ca va?"
Cris: "..... Huh?"
Me: ".........Naru-baka. -_-;"

I call her Naru-baka because personality-wise, she's the most like him. I don't fit just one person, but they tend to just call me sensei... *Shrugs* Seriously, I'd be a good match for the majority of them. And in case you're wondering, yes, I am formal with my friends. *nods* I'm actually a very formal person....

So. Most of the time, we have Spanish, French, Japanese, and random bits of Italian in our conversations. Little of it actually takes place in English... it's not that we know what the other does when it comes to languages, it's just that she's learned to understand what I'll typically mean--generally--whereas with understanding her, she's obvious in what she's talking about. With me, she complains it's a pain. I'm an excellent actress, so I have an unfair advantage; I can change my mood, look, and tone to fit whatever I want. She can't guess with me; she's liable to get it wrong, heh...

Fweee, I learned a new Japanese word. Score.

I got a new phone! I've been without for a few months, and now my new one is super-cool. Friends and family are more excited then I am......-_-;

*Grins* Even if I speak english they might have trouble understanding me. (well, one of them, at least...) My vocabulary is quite....extensive, and my tendency to speak formally as well doesn't help.

Yeah, from what I know the Japanese are really polite/formal. *Shrugs* I'd do well there.

Heehee. Yeah, it's really cool. For a phone. I can live without them quite easily... but they do make things easier. *Shrugs* It's practical nowadays to own a phone....heh.

Mm, phones do make it easier... though we all are too reliant on them (me included! I get into difficulties with work, as I don't have one). Good that you can live without them - don't think many people can.
