Hopefully you got to eat one? I guess a burger is more nutritious than cake, after all.
 
I've been wanting to write too, but haven't had the time. Or rather, the energy.
Maybe I will soon, though. I've been playing a lot of Dark Souls, and it's totally inspiring me for yet another wacky fanfic. My character's name is Erza, so I'm thinking I'll use her for it.

Went to eat a vegitarian burger. It was fake meat that was really good at lying at bejng meat. And the blueberry soda was to dir for. It mightve been one of the best meals i had in my life. I almost got up to hug the manager the meal was so good.

I might play as a female character in Pokemon Sun just so i can customize and make Erza or Blake from RWBY.

Honestly what helped me more was writing now stuff i want and not second guessing myself. Because i did that a lot before. Now i feel more free just writing everything that comes to my head.

Ah, I've never had a vegetarian burger before, but I have had vegan bacon, and it's really good, better than real bacon, I think. I've never had blueberry soda before either, actually. 

Yeah, I think it's best to write for yourself, rather than to please others. After all, it's what keeps you writing. 
I think my problem's been a lack of time and energy. This year has been exhausting. And just plain depressing, thanks to the election. I've never felt like my vote is so useless before.

Just talking about this food makes me want to go back and eat there. It's pricey but worth it. Blueberry soda is... it's the most delicious soda I've ever drank. I don't drink soda as much anymore but it's definitely better than every single commercial brand ever. There was other funky / unusual flavors there that I'm sure might be just as good. 

Every time I get a chance to write I generally go through a procrastination process. Now that I've got a smartphone I'll try to write either on Docs or on Notes if I feel like writing. I write rarely on paper now though since the process is kind of easier on a laptop or my phone. But doing either or I notice I'll get distracted or nothing comes to mind. I'll sit there then go "I need coffee" get up to grab it, then maybe turn a tv on and get distracted by that, or by Youtube or watching an anime. And then at the end of the day I'll still have nothing.

Conveniently, on the night of the election, I poured my energy into writing a one-shot. I felt like I just had to write something. Anything. Just to put something out there - either something I needed to continue or something I always wanted to write. I love RWBY and wanted to write more stand alone romance / funny one-shots and did so. I had no clue where the ending of it would go but just added scene after scene of smaller moments I'd wanted to see / write in one shots. It kind of worked - almost like a frankensteins fic. I don't think it's a system that would work all the time but worked in that instance to get that Bumbleby One-shot I wanted done.

Other times I might type or write out little scenarios or bits I know I've wanted to write. I can get a good number of things that are not connected and then they'll be sewn together and all appear in a fic or a one shot. Honestly at the end of the day since I am writing for fun and not really meeting other peoples expectations for fics, what does get put out is born out of odd inspiration or moments. Sometimes I can write all day easy as pie. Other (most) days nothing comes to mind. But, I think the best thing any of us can do is wing it. And write what WE want at the end of the day.

The only soda I drink anymore is Canada Dry. Anything else makes my stomach go crazy. I would want to try blueberrry though, just to see what it's like.

Your process is interesting. Sometimes I'm kind of similar to you, but usually, I'm pretty hyper-focused and tend to write for hours without realizing what I'm doing. And so usually I don't even bother to start because I know I'll spend too much time on it.

Personally, I couldn't do much of anything on the night of and day after the election. I just felt too depressed to do anything but go to school and stuff. I kind of had this empty feeling the whole time, somewhat like when someone you know just recently died. Maybe odd, but it's how I felt.

I think of soda commercials were honest they wouldn't show people drinking the stuff constantly. But instead people keeling over an hour or more later because they have so much bubbly carbon in their system. If / when I do drink a soda it's generally just one cup only. And hardly will it be like two days or more in a row. I also avoid coffee for a good amount of time after I have a soda because that isn't good at all. Which always trips me out seeing people drink a soda then immediately go for coffee or a redbull. That is just not good for your insides at all.

It varies but that's generally what it's like for myself. One day though I want to write just something ridiculous. Like a fic where it's a crossover with just character interactions and banter off of each other. Even if people hate it or it never got read I would want to write that just to get it out there. Though lately when I have thought of writing scenarios I also think some things would be better for little comics or omake. IDK just something on my head lately.

The next day sucked. San Diego is kind of more Liberal but we have conservatives here too. And goddamn it was horrifying the next day going to my college campus and getting emails from the school to stay safe because ethnic students were getting assaulted. Half of the student body immediately organized and the local news didn't help branding the students as "inciting" violence when they were organized in protest AGAINSt violent students beating up kids because they were Muslim or Mexican. It was upsetting and made me ashamed of the authorities covering it all. and making it worse a man almost punched this old dude in my lab class (old dude made a sexist / racist comment about the other guys wife, who is Mexican). 

That said there was a weird affect that did happen. Where  I live, Barrio Logan, it's old and historically known for the Hispanic community and involvement in the Civil Rights Era, the Latin movements, Cesar Chavez, all that. And relations with police is.... shaky. But weirdly when the community got together to march in protest the police didn't attack or harass them. They actually PROTECTED them as they were protesting against Trump and his followers. 

I just... even now thinking about it frustrates me. The country is going backwards and so many people could have prevented this by voting. I voted against Trump and if many of the people who said "my vote doesn't matter" did go out and vote for Clinton, we wouldn't be in this mess. But in the end, writing, looking to the heroes and legends of the stories that bring me joy, that inspires me to do better in the world. At least that's what gets me through it all these days lately.

Yeah, I could never drink more than one glass a day. When I was a kid, I used to drink soda pop all the time though. 
Coffee is too strong for me; I could never drink that stuff. Water is my go-to.

Yes, I've read and heard a lot about violence increasing in schools thanks to all this political drama. Even school teachers are having a difficult time, since they typically use elections as a time to get students interested in politics, and yet, more than half the stuff Trump says isn't appropriate language for a school setting. Pathetic, is what it is.

Not all cops are against minorities. The primary job of a police officer is to protect the entire community, not just a set part of it. I believe there are many cops out there who believe in keeping the peace for everyone; it's just sad that only the racist ones make the news headlines. But honestly, all cops could use diversity and de-escalation tactics training. I mean, if we're going to put guns in their hands, they should certainly know how to use them or rather, how not to.  

Well, I did my part, for what it was worth.
I was really depressed when I awoke the next morning to find that Trump had won, and my state still hadn't even been counted yet. It just... felt like it was all pointless, in the end.
