# About me
I have been interested in photography since I got my first camera when I was 14. Up until recently I have been using standard point-and-shoots, but now I have myself a Cannon Rebel, so I now have much to learn about DSLR photography. Being in the military has provided many opportunities to take photos from all around the world, and I soon hope to have a series from each continent. I love doing landscape/scenery pictures, although recently I have been getting into taking pictures of people and animals. I am always looking to better myself as a photographer, so any tips, comments, and critiques are more than welcome.

Living near where I do (DC) I am friends with quite a few people who served ranging from Vietnam to where you are. That being said, I most certainly appreciate what you do. I personally was only in the National Guard for a while but that did require me to do basic training at Ft. Benning.

Thank goodness that photography is one of those things where you can never know too much. No matter how good we become there is always room for improvement, which makes it quite fun really. I have been off-and-on about photography just as a hobby, mostly due to work schedules getting in the way, but recently I have taken a more serious approach. I am about three months into being more active and I can already tell that I still have a long way to go before I can compete on a professional level. Well, congrats on your anniversary, and happy hunting for more fantastic shots!
