# About me
Welcome visitors! I'm glad you stopped by. Please have a look at my gallery to view some interesting images I've created to try to bring fractals more into a real life form. The majority of these images were created by manipulating variables in mathematical formulas in a friendly user interface within the Mandelbulb 3D fractal program. I also create fractals with Apophysis and Fractal Explorer. Most images can be purchased as prints. And images not offered as prints can be set up for printing if you make a request.
Most of my images can also be licensed for use as CD cover art, book covers or web use.

Thank you for favouring Distressed Galvanisation, derived from a cropped photo of a surface seen in Amsterdam. By the time I'd 'finished' with it it looked just about believable as some kind of mid 20th century corporate abstract expressionism 'art' that they buy by the square metre to decorate swank American offices and foyers. I regard this as a real compliment. I Wish I could do this mandelbulb thing, but the dizzying array of parameters defeats me.

Actually, I also make pottery, though I just took it back up this summer. So I experiment some with combining glazes and that image struck me as being interesting. I don't post my pottery images here at DA because there doesn't seem to be much interest in pottery.

If you read the comment I sent you with the url's to the tutorials, I clearly said they were made using an older version.

i just need to familiarize myself with the program.Β I'm trying to do everything all at once...i need to take baby steps.Β i see what it can do, i just need to slow down.Β learn each function at a time.Β I'm reading your tutorials carefully.Β love your work, i am not frustrated or discouraged.
