# About me

I was once asked to define my identity as a writer on a note card. I put:
"I'm a dreamer. I discuss my dreams. I am resigned to the fact that I may never make a dime with my writing. The most important things are self-expression and expanding my imagination. In short, I write fantasy fiction."

Basically, I hate the concept of a journalist. If you're going to make things up for ravenous minds, you might as well be a fiction writer. The only difference is the fact that success is not guaranteed for the latter.

I am prepared to face that outcome to preserve my own happiness.
