Welcome laddies an' lasses tae me forge! I'm just a humble dwarf plyin' me trade makin' weapons and occasionally other things! If'n ye want somethin' done right, come tae ol' Ironbeard!Okay, so I'm not really a dwarven smith. I'm a nerd who likes to play DnD and make 3d models of weapons and other fantasy items. I'm fairly new to modeling, but I'm learning fast and enjoy a good challenge!

I always do high-poly. I could probably find ways to reduce my poly counts, but as I'm not making my models for stuff like video games, I'm not particularly interested in putting in the extra work for that.

i know what you mean it is a lot of work to bake a working normal map from a high-poly to a low-poly. Often I have to repair my model several times until everything fits.
