I just finished anthropology. It was a great book, well written, but I do wonder. In the end, and most of the book, bonbon seemed to be nothing but a stuck up prude and hated Lyra. I understand why she would be like that on the beginning, but in the end, all she could think about seemed to be the fact Lyra was getting so many stares. So my entire view of her was she never changed from being a bit of a prude. Other than getting the ending to connect with the beginning, was there another reason she was like that?

Anthropology is brilliant. I honestly didn't know it wasn't on EqD before, so I don't know how I found it. But I can safely say it is one of the few fan fics I eagerly follow. You sir, are brilliant.
