your gallery is very inspiring. most colleges/students i see on here are working with more 'precious' easier to work with materials like copper and silver etc. your steel work is great. your lines, curves, aesthetics, grinding, polishing, blending, finishing, all of it is superb.
what school did are you attending? i've been thinking hard about getting some organized overpriced knowledge. anyplace that allows you to work on such a scale with such materials is definitely something im interested in.
keep killin it.

I just graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh. They have a cool studio there, good input from the professor. I had to buy all my own material. They supply welders, a forge, a foundry and other stuff. Great school for the money (cheap).

Really nice metal work. out of curiosity do you use tig or mig welding?

JayRoth In reply to Saint-Onge [2009-12-23 18:34:37 +0000 UTC]
Thank you! I use both. Mig is nice for getting the steel together and tig is great of touch up. I also use torch welding for very fine seams.
