# About me

I am 50 yrs and I am an oncology nurse in a local hospital. I love to write novels and poetry, but the most time I use for my Haiku (and other Japanese poetry-forms). I became a wellknown haiku poet after I published my first English haiku in 2005. Since than I write my haiku mostly in English.
In 2012 October I started a weblog for haiku-poets. That weblog is called "Chèvrefeuille's Carpe Diem, a daily haiku meme", but in October 2013 I renamed it "Carpe Diem Haiku Kai", because I have build a nice haiku-community with a nice group of Haiku-poets.
