Aaah thank you so much!! <3 I had a nice day, thank you! I mainly celebrated it on Sunday for my family as it is easier to come on a Sunday than on a Monday (they don't live nearby) but I still had lots of leftover yummy birthday (I "accidentally" baked too much   ). And I got super much chocolate as well, hnnnnng!!

Omg yesssss. sorry for the late reply, but this last exam week has been killing me. I had to study. a. lot. Now I still need to wait for the results
But I got really cool presents!! I got this really nice bag and also moneyszzz <33 I might actually want to buy an ereader but i'm not entirely sure. I kinda really feel like I want to buy something from the money but I dont know what, haha.


Oh dear I really hope that you got yourself some chocolate!  Aaah, I just crave chocolate so much. Like our Albert Heijn in town got this particular alley in their store where there are like 15 differnt types of chocolate eggs and you can fill a basket with as many eggs as possible! It's pretty expensive but the chocolate eggs look soooooo tasty. I'm so tempted to buy some, haha. They've got like special kinds of fillings etc. Aaah the more I talk about it the more I want them, haha. ARe you going to do something fun for easter, or just staying nice and easy at home (like me, haha)

I've been quite busy with homework these days. And right now I'm supposed to make a Chemistry test but I'm ill at home Dx Last friday I didn't feel so good as well, and I had to make my 'reken examen' and I couldn't concentrate well (also because someone next to me almost threw their pen on the table every time they were done with an exercise ). I do think I made it well in the end, but I want to be able to make my Chemistry test with all health because I REALLY need me some good grades for it DDD:
Anyway, I'm just soooooo looking forward to the 2 weeks of holiday in May because I'll basically have 4 weeks of holiday: 2 weeks holiday, then I only have to go to school for 3 days, and the week after we have workweek (during which I'll stay home and do a 'pimp your own workweek' as it's called at our school XD). What are you going to do with workweek, and how was your birthday?

I'm so terribly sorry that I did not reply any sooner! I've been incredibly busy with everything. I went to visit family three times over the past few weeks, visited another uni (one with school for a lecture day and one open day again, had to write several essays and today I finished my testweek in which I had to take five school exams (out of seven tests I had to take) I have studied so incredibly much, it's insane! I didn't receive any results just yet, but I think I did well. And if not; I could always do two resits ^-^

Ah, that really sucks ): I hope that you're feeling better now! Did you already do your chemistry test?

Oh boy, that dreaded rekentoets! I really don't like that we have to take it and that our whole graduation thing depends on that one test! Was that like already the real rekentoets? I hope you did well even though the guy was super annoying! We did some pratice tests as well, but it's most of the time just the reading that makes it so difficult. Fortunately we only have to score a 4,5 for the test to pass! Since this is the first year the rekentoets will be implemented for real, they're making it easier to pass (:

I don't exactly have a workweek this year (I'm not sure what we'll be doing during the workweek, probably just regular classes), but the week after the work week I am going to England instead! I will be there for a week for a project for the bilingual classes to gain international work experience. I'll be going there by plane with a classmate of mine! Haha, it's bloody scary, but so exciting at the same time!! I'll be working in a charity shop that sells second hand goods. I really can't wait! I should still think of a present to take with me for my host though (since she said she didn't want to charge anything for having me over).

My birthday was nice, thanks! I got a really nice necklace from my parents and we went out for dinner to a nice pizza place. I had a pizza with a fish topping for the first time ever, and it was so much better than I had expected, haha! I always find it lovely to try out new things (: Unfortunately my brother couldn't make it home on my birthday, but he visited the day after. Too bad he was thoroughly hungover because he had drunk way too much the night before (he had had a trip with his 'studievereniging')

I know right Yep, it was the real deal. It sucked though, because sometimes I ended up with decimal numbers, but it didn't say how many decimals you had to fill in >n<

We had a workweek meeting a couple of days ago, and we all had to come up with some things to do, and the 'leaders' also had organised things like a daytrip to Amsterdam and some professional artists that will come over. We also have to do voluntary work, so we want to help in the retirement. And as of other things, we'll probably do things like baking, going to a movie etc (we'll also have to do something 'sporty' which I'm not looking forward to... except if it's something like a dropping or scavenger hunt).

Oh my that's soo awesome! Going by plane is so cool ;ww; Working at a charity shop seems like fun, and wow, that's so sweet of her! 8D Is it a family you'll be staying with, or just one woman? Some real dutch goods and foods are always nice to give! I'm sure it will be super fun

aw, that's too bad! Talking about drunk people, our city always has 'paasvee'. I don't know if you heard about it, but it's basically just a market with livestock exhibition (for slaughtering) and a day on which everyone gets super drunk.. (with a lot of police everywhere, thank god). I'm glad I got a day off, but I really dislike it because we live close to the city center where it's all happening. So drunk people always pass our house, even throw smoke bombs, and came into our backyard once It really makes me scared and pissed, and I'm just worried about something happening to my parents. (my mother for example went to the supermarket and people started following her..) I mean, I get drinking and getting drunk can be fun and all, and I don't have any problems with it.. uuuntil it's anywhere near me. That's why I never want to drink myself, and if I'd ever get a partner I'd really appreciate them not drinking like.. at all. Might be a bit dramatic, but it's just a huge no go for me.

It did pay off somewhat! I got rather goof marks, but I was somewhat disappointed by some marks since I had expected to get a better Marj considering the amount of hours I studied. 

I hope do too! Did you already get the results?

Oh we had that too during our practice test, that was so annoying! It made me so nervous since I thought I had the wrong answers because I had to round it off somewhat. 

Oh what really? That really sounds lovely! I assume that you have a workweek this week too? I got mine at least, it's horrible. Today we had to go to the 'letterkundig museum den Haag' and it was utterly boring. Tomorrow we have to do a whole assignment about this museum, which will also be super lovely and exciting -not. Then on Thursday we will have a job interview day for which er have to be at school from 8:30 to 16:30 to learn stuff we will only need after about seven years or so. I don't need to get information right noe about how I do a job interview considering I won't have proper job interviews in the upcoming seven years. 
Oh wow! You can even do baking? That sounds amazing! And to the movies too? Woa!! Awesome ^-^

Aaah I'm already leaving this Saturday!! I'm so super excited! I'm staying at a widowed woman, so she lives all on her own (her husband died quite recently) I bought for her some Dutch mugs (like Delft's blauw) with a little tea box in which I put Dutch Blend tea and I got a little ornament (miniature Delft's blauwe klompjes). I really hope that she likes it! She already emailed me yesterday to ask what I like and don't like for food, oh boy she's so kind!!

It had like tonnes of different fish on it! It had tuna, mussels, crab, salmon, squid and I don't even know what more! It was soooo good ;u; 

Oh what?! Really?! That's just insane! I don't get why people would do such things, drink so much that they lose control over their senses and do such horrific stuff. That sounds horrible! Especially the smoke bombs in the yard, woa. I've never really seen my brother drunk fortubately, but I do know that he starts to boast a lot when he had some drinks. He's more daring with his jokes which in turn will become very very offensive. He sometimes tells stories about going out and stuff, but some stories do make me shiver. I don't mind drinking, but please be in control of everything :c

I'm glad it did! Aw, that's too bad though D: I know the feelin' of studying super hard and getting disappointed in the end (especially when a test contains mostly 'inzicht' questions, or things you couldn't study). But hey, at least you've got those tests done now ;v;

Haha nope, our workweek is in 5 weeks or so (the 2nd week after the break). ahhh, that sucks! A whole assignment? Gee, do you also get a mark for it? that'd suck even more! Indeed, they better prepare you for college interviews or motivation letters D:

Wohh, I actually don't like mussels and crab (and probably also squid although I haven't taste it, but I'm not that of a seafood lover other than regular fish like tuna, salmon or mackerel etc.) I do like ansjovy though! But yay for it being good, it's always nice to taste new things~

Today I went to Artis with school for Biology, to observe certain animals on different kinds of their behaviour. Me and two frendz had to observe the japanese macaque, and at first they were quite boring, but after a while a few of them got into a fight ;_; We also observed humans, but we just made our results up because we didn't feel like it anymore. The weather was really good though, and I really enjoyed the sun (it makes me happy 8D). And I finally had a Twister ice cream again, after a long while, and those are just soo yummehh <33 In the end I just ended up walking with Dorien's group because my group decided to stay at the restaurant for the rest of the time, but I really wanted to see all the animals! I really wanted to go to the aquarium because I love sea animals like seals, but I didn't have time for it anymore D: I did see seadogs and penguins though oWo Yay! Oh, and we sorta saved a dog too! XD In the end when we had to go to our bus, we first went to the toilet (we were already latish) and then we had to walk a short while to the bus. We were walking on this sidewalk next to a fairly busy road, hurrying for our bus because everyone was already there, but all of the sudden I felt something racing past my legs and it appeared to be a dog. A guy ran after it screaming 'Grab the dog!!!', and then the dog ran over the busy road ;;_;; Luckily he stayed on the bicycle path and eventually got on the sidewalk again, because you know, he could have died. So me, Dorien and a friend were still walking there, while the dog ran all different ways. There were also a lot of bicycles in bicycle racks along the sidewalk, so the dog ran back behind those bicycles, and that's when I saw the chance to catch the dog, so I quickly ran back, strangled between the bicycles and grabbed his collar (with difficulty, because the dog was really freakin' strong and tried to run away again, and I am a person with no strength at all OTL, but I now see how this dog can easily run away if he'd want to), while my friend jumped in and took his leash. (looking back at this I make it sound so heroic lol).  Then we handed the leash back to the guy, who was chasing the dog in the first place, while thinking it was his dog. But apparently it wasn't his dog, he actually thought it was our dog lolz.. But then we reaally had to go to the bus, and although I would really would've loved to help finding the owner, I can only hope the owner and the dog got reunited in the end.

Indeed! I'm one that agrees with that a yolo view on life isn't bad, because I feel like you shouldn't hold back from things you want to do in your life. But I do think that when you do it, you shouldn't hurt others with it, or at least just know that you'll have to accept the consequences of your acts. So if you want to drink a ton of alcohol, I can only say go for it, but if you do it near me, I'm saying byebye and have a nice day.

Yessss, exactly! I really dislike those kind of questions. It always let's me think that I better could not have studied a thing at all. It looks like all the studying was just a waste of my time, considering all of the questions were based on 'inzicht' and not on knowledge at all. It's so super frustrating ;n; I did get the results from my retake though and I scored a 7,8! So I'm really happy with that ^.^ I still have super much to do the week after next week though. I still need to read a "literatuur boek" voor Dutch class for an oral exam. It's from Harry Mulisch, De ontdekking van de hemel (which is freaking 932 pages or something, like what!?!). Then I got 2 more really big papers to write and another exam. It's so stressful and I'm kind of freaking out.

Indeed! It's was horrendous, really! Oh well, I survived the day! I actually do have a job interview like this Friday for "kassiere" at the Jumbo. Do you guys actually have a job? o: /I really need some money, -sobs/ But well, I could already write letters of motivation for a job interview on my own, and I didn't need a whole day for it. Oh well.

Hnnnng, I had a super great time! Thank you so much! The lady with whom I stayed was really weird, but she had recently (last September) lost her husband, so that was understandable. It was very very awkward at her place though. The job on the other hand was really fantastic ;u; I'll tell you some more about it in the note!

To be honest, I never really had proper squid I think. I did have those fried squid tentacle-rings at a chinese restaurant once though, but I must say that those were pretty tasteless. I thought that I only really tasted the texture (which felt quite rubbery) and there was little to no taste at all (but it could've just been the restaurant of course!). Hnnng, salmon! I really love salmon ;u; Smoked salmon is also soooooo good to just have on a slice of bread! It's lovely!

Oooh to the zoo, that is a pretty awesome biology trip! Haha, I think that basically everyone does that once in a while /it's just so easy to make up results!/ That sounds really great! Hnng, sunny weather with some ice cream, that is just like the best feeling ever! Well, I would've done the same really. If I get the chance to go to the zoo once, I would actually like to see some other animals than just humans sitting in a restaurant all day. Aah, too bad you didn't have time to see them ;n; They are super cute though!
Oh wow, that sounds like quite an adventure for that dog. Haha, good thing that you could catch it then! I really wouldn't want to have seen the dog running on the streets near all the cars and stuff and getting hit by the car ;n; Oh boy, that really would've been horrible D: You saved the dog, you have all the rights to make it sound heroic, haha. Well, dogs are pretty strong most of the time (especially the ones like German Shepherds and a Husky and such dogs. They're super adorable though /I really have a weak spot for dogs/. I'm sure his owner will be very grateful for your heroic action! 

Exactly! Or as long as I don't get involved in all of the consequences by your inability to self control or whatever. Yolo life isn't bad, nope. I quite like the idea too that people do things that they would be too scared of doing at first, but well since you only live once you can try to do it. Personally I wouldn't do stupid things that would make my life (which I only live once!) a horrendous experience due to things as brain damage or other physical or mental damage gained through actions. But I would recommend just doing things that might be scary at first, but do not involve any very dramatical and serious consequences. I must say that my brother has actually got into a relationship recently, and he reduced drinking and going out to parties a lot! So I'm really happy for him, and that he kind of starts to live healthier and has gained a better feeling of responsibility and stuff.
