# About me

I served two tours in Iraq, hated it. Saw the absurdity and waste of war. This, for better or worse, is what drives most of my art. I'm a laid back, easy going fellow that loves history, art, rock, and some ghost huntin' now and then. I write books too. You can look up one of my books on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles. Look up Zachary Hill. I have six books out; "Gorgon," "Witch Queen." "Behind the Shroud." "Edge of the Empire" "Broken World" and "Shattered Lands." I like them, but I'm a bit biased. I spent a few months in Italy teaching English. Fell in love with the place, especially Venice.
Currently in love with the most amazing woman ever.

I just have to say that I've been to Italy and freaking loved it. I loved the way of life there and kind of made me sad that I had to come back to America. In other words, I'm jealous.

Yeah... I think our goverment is equal. It's truth... we have so many wonderful things, that people here doesn't respect or enjoy ! We don't care about them ! And It's so sad... (yeah.. .the food it's... * Q *)... I never saw an italian horror movie uahuahauauh ! I saw american ones... Many are goods but now they don't have ideas anymore I think... and they prefer to do remakes of asian ones - . -
That's why I only watch asian horror movies...

The American remakes, almost without exception, suck! The original "Shutter" and "Pulse" were awesome, but the remakes were terrible. (The Ring was good though) "The Unborn" just came out in theaters, original, but it was...6 out of 10. Maybe a 7. As far as Asian flicks go, "One Missed Call" was good, "Shikoku" "Tale of Two Sisters" is being remade as "The Uninvited." I don't know what part of Italy you're in, but in Speleto I had the best wild boar sausage. I'm working on two paintings right now, one of a Native American Indian and another of Venice. (I guess every artist has to do Venice at least once.)

I identify with you wanting to find a way to express yourself ina way that wasn't trite or overused and I think you did a good job of it. My initail ideas are always so cartoony or in your face obvious and it takes me a long time to mold them into something I feel is strong and useable.
