*Shadow was currently sitting in the Tower of Winds, boredly. His time antagonizing the Links with Vio cut short due to the urgency of Vaati's orders.*
*Vaati bounded in, cape aflair and scowl adorning his face as he looked at his two identical underlings. His teeth were clenched as he seethed with rage, holding up a piece, of what looked like glass in his hand.* You see this?!
A piece of glass. *Shadow said as if the answer were obvious* What else would it be? *He shrugged nonchalantly*
*Vaati became furious, he stomped right up to the shadow and shoved ihe shard into his face with a hard glare.* I KNOW IT'S A BLOODY PIECE OF GLASS. What matters is where it's from! *He backed himself away from the shadow and a more calm demeanor settled in* The Dark Mirror is cracking. Soon....We will no longer exist.

*Quite surprised by the wind mage's anger, Vio flinched back before relising what Vaati was saying. Vaati no longer existing? Vio did not mind that much, but Shadow? Although he planned on betraying the shadow, he had grown to be a bit fond of him.
Do you have any idea of why the mirror is cracking? *Vio asked, hoping not to enrage Vaati anymore*

*Vaati paused and looked at the violet clad Link beside his fledgling, seemingly forgetting he was there and bit his lower lip. He was so used to it just being him and Shadow he hadn't really meant to tell the Ex-Hero anything about their life source.*
*But since he'd already gone and mentioned it..* At this point, the only logical explanation I can come up with is Princess Zelda.
Why the Princess? * The dark counterpart asked, sitting up in his chair with a look of interest.*
*Vaati let out a small chuckle* Tell me, Shadow, what does Zelda have that you do not?
*Shadow's face scrunched up in thought for a second before he perked up and stood from his seat.* Boobs.
NO, YOU IMBECILE. She's the holder of the Light Force! Goddesses, Shadow Link! *Vaati slapped a hand to his head and with a wave of his hand, the winds carried the dust from the floor to make images appear in the air*
You see, with the Princess being the holder of the Light Force, she gives off a radiant glow to any dark being. She also thereby WEAKENS that darkness simply by being around it and I believe THIS is why the Dark Mirror is cracking. Her stay here is not only affecting Hyrule, but through the Dark Mirror, the Dark World as well.
But.....We need her, don't we? Ganon said-
*Vaati held up a finger, silencing his fledgling* I KNOW what Lord Ganon said. But, that's not to say we can't....'tweak' the plan a bit so we don't destroy ourselves before your counterparts even get here.
*Shadow Link looked at his feet* But, we still have V.. I- I mean Vio.
*Vaati threw his hands up into the air in exasperation* Yes, yes, by all means, leave him to fight the entire ARMY of Light Dwellers alone!

*Thinking heavily on what Vaati had just said, and ignoring the "fight a whole army by himself" thing, the violet clone said* Why don't you just keep Zelda in a separate temple? That way, the Dark Mirror won't break, and we can lure my idiot counterparts here. They would think Zelda is here, in the Wind Temple, instead of another place.

*Vaati tapped his chin, thinking of what the ex-hero had just said and began to nod in agreement.* Yes, I like this. Since the other hero's have restored the temple of Light, we'll keep her there.
*Shadow Link tilted his head to the side, cutely* You know....we all have purple on..
Don't spew nonsense, Shadow. Focus. Besides, you don't technically have any pigments. *Vaati shushed his underling with a wave of his hand.*
That's true. But, if we go into the Light Temple.. Wont the sages they've released sense her?*Shadow leaned up against the wall, hearing the Hinox's below making loud, obnoxious noises.

We'll have to use one of the Light Dwellers that have joined us. Besides, you'll bring her to them.*He flashed the shadow a grin and then, with a wave of his cape, exited the room, laughing*

*Vio let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding, saying* You're telling me. I'm not even sure if he trusts me yet. *The violet-clad ex-hero got up, stretching* Anyways, we better do something about Zelda. At least figure out how we'll get her to the Light Temple.

I was just going to grab her again lik I did last time. *He shrugged and started walking out of the room, making sure Vio was following, before he let out a small humorless chuckle* ...worked like a charm last time..

*chuckling along with the shadow, Vio said* I think she'd expect that. She probobally would see you, and get you arrested. Then where would we be? It would be a lot smarter to think of a plan to get her away from the castle and her guards.

*Shadow scratched at his face, deep in thought. He supposed he could just have Vio go, but, he didn't want him to have to go alone. The poes weren't exactly the most friendly of Ganon's underlings. He could get seriously hurt if he went by himself.* Hmm, how about we try something? You go to the temple, and I'll go with you hiding in your shadow! How's that?
*Shadow Link's southern drawl made itself known again by the end of his statement.*
