Hi my name is Lak Lim and I am a freelance artist. I have worked for Topps, Upperdeck, Cryptozoic Entertainment, 5FINITY Productions, Rittenhouse Archives LTD., Sadlittles.com and Breygent Marketing on their respective sketch card sets. I also do commission work ranging from 2.5"x3.5" sketch cards to 11"x17" comic book pages. No, Lim is actually a very common Chinese last name. As far as style goes, I used to follow his work. So maybe some of it rubbed off on me.

I was looking at your cards on Sketchcard Collectors and I just wanted to say how much I like all the detail you put into your cards. I'm still getting use to drawing in such a small space but you really do a great job of with the small space your given

Thanks, I like to think that I've been improving with every set I work on. I think the Marvel 70th Anniversary set is one that sees improvement in my details on cards. The next set I work on will have more detailed cards. Now I'll just have to do fewer of them so I can get the details done. Yeah, it takes some getting used to.
