How is it that suddenly everyone watches Top Gear...

It is kinda weird. I got into it a few years ago, and now it's EVERYWHERE.
I tell my friends about it and love when they get into it, but having EVERYONE know what it is kinda bothers me. I dunno how I feel about it.

To all the new people I tell them that they are watching the wrong one.
In the UK, since BBC is technically public television, they dont have to pay licensing rights for music. The BBC America versions however don't have that advantage, so the music is changed. By changed what I really mean is worse. For instance the teaser to season 4 is soundtracked by the Strokes...

i know, and most of them are edited to hell. luckily I torrent everything, so i've seen it all as it should be. Watching it on BBCA generally makes me sad because people here will never see it at it's best, even in the 90 minute format.
When i get people into it I usually have them come over and watch it on my computer, but that's broken at the moment. all the eps are safe on my external hd's tho.

I can't remember exactly what I have, but I know I've got all 15 series, plus the Aussie and American stuff, a bunch of everyone else's shows including pretty much everything James has ever done, a couple of audiobooks, the UK vs Germany episode from the other side. And I just got Top Gear Apocalypse, Man Lab, and Jezza's new one.
Plus loads of books and mags and whatever. I tend to collect things when I get into them LOL.

And are you watching TG USA? It is actually turning into something nice. Since you have season 1 I am guessing you understand it was not anywhere near as good then, so you can see the potential that the US version has now. It is on History Sunday nights... which is tonight.

I really hope that TGUS gets a chance to get going like the other Top Gears have. Season 1 of UK was kinda sad, but I still love it. there are some great moments. And TGA is getting better now... if they ever finish the season? Dunno what's up there.
I don't really use itunes for anything, so I'm gonna watch it in a couple hours when it's on! Can't wait!
