Judge Mental - Part 1"Say hello to your graduating class," the presenter called proudly.
The crowd gathered at the Mt. Blass University auditorium applauded and
cheered as the men in women on stage stood and bowed. They were a diverse
assortment for such a small private law school. They were male, female, a good
mix of races and body sizes. One however stood out amongst all the others. His
name was Brett Amos. He tended to stand out no matter where he went. Being
only 4'6" tends to draw attention in this day and age.
If there was one thing Brett had wanted to be his whole life it was a lawyer.
In middle school he had picked up a copy of The Pelican Brief and that had
been that. Hours of studying and sacrifice, working two part times jobs to pay
his way through law school had all led to this.
"I'm so proud of you," his mother said hugging him tightly as they regrouped
out front.
"Mom, I need to breathe."
"Sorry," she said letting him go.
"So what are your plans now Mr. Lawyer?" his father asked.

Break In Queen (Special Edition) Have you ever been robbed? It's not the fact that your stuff's gone that gets ya no it's the knowing that someone got into your house, your home. It's the knowing your home isn't safe anymore that it never even was to begin with. That's frightening. I'll never get to know that feeling. My experience was different from the norm - very different.
It began on a cold dreary night in December. I was still living at home to save on boarding costs at my college. That night was the first I had been alone in quite awhile and I intended to make the most of it. And by 'make the most of it' I mean watch the television living room in my underwear eating pizza. Yeah, I know, I led an exciting life.

God I hate going to the car show. I am not a gear head. The only cars I've ever been interested in were the ones in where the ones in Grand Theft Auto. But my family loved this place so I went with them to make him happy. Besides it was better than staying home on a Saturday right?
It was held every year in the convention center just off the state fair grounds. A large open space it looked more like an airplane hangar than a showroom. There were classic cars, new cars, concept cars, toy cars, you name it you could find it there I bet. It was going to be a long day I could already tell.
Then I saw the real reason I came. I'll admit ahead of time it's a really adolescent reason to go but hey I'm a teenager so it's OK. I think. Anyway ahead one of the booths was attracting guests with a pair of bikini clad models.
