# About me

My name is Emelie and welcome to my deviantart page!

Art is one of my major interests. I've always been drawn to it and it has always been very important to me, whether I look at art or make it. I am influenced by many things and usually I have different periods where I feel inspired by something particular. I've always liked to try new things and to explore different techniques and materials.

I paint both digitally and traditionally. When I paint digitally I use my digital Wacom tablet and Photoshop CS5. I've painted digitally for about 10 years now and it is one of my favourite techniques, along with oil paint.

I have participated in a few art projects, one of them was "Mallrats" (lead by Kristoffer Svenberg) where I made bird sculptures and another installation called "Vicious Circle", which may be found in my dA gallery. The project was shown at Moderna Museet between the dates of 12th to 14th April 2013.
