Monty Oum, the designer of the RWBY series, has died.
*sniff* why must the good lord take him away from us? He was so young too, only 33 when he died!

Yep. I'm still trying to get over it. And you know what? I'm going to use this pain and finally get to finishing not only the projects I've been meaning to share with you guys (that I have not been able to because I've been away at college, nor do I feel it is appropriate to share them right now because Monty passed away so recently), I'm going to finish my own story that I've been working on for years. I won't let the passing of Monty be just another death in the world, I'm going to make the most out of it and the pain it brings me. Damn, I wish I could have woken up and the news would turn out to be nothing more than a nightmare, but it isn't. So here we are, trying to cope however we can. We can either cope in a way that is destructive, or we can cope in a way that creates, which is exactly what I feel Monty would have wanted.
I'll be getting to work much more frequently now. I won't be able to share because my college doesn't have a scanner, but I like to look at it like this.
Monty took a risk creating RWBY. He went in knowing there was a possibility it might get shot down, and he still did it. His hard work and devotion is an inspiration to us all, and he will be deeply missed.

Hey, did you see the new thing about the Grimm in RWBY?
Well as it was recently demonstrated, they actually feed on negative energy from human conflicts in the world of Remnant.
The Grimm are becoming more well-rounded and awesome. Maybe you should incorporate that into your Grimm stuff.

Hey, did you see RWBY Season 2 Episode 1?

It was a pretty cool episode, and the plot thickens. Apparently Torchiwick isn't the Head Honcho, but he's working for someone else. Who would've known. Also, their plan is going into Phase 2!
Oh, and that one scene was surprisingly awesome. It was like Fruit Ninja taken to the extreme!

I had a feeling Torchwick wasn't head. I knew Cinder was kept under the shadows for a reason. Emerald is fucking hot though!
I wish the plot would do more with the Grimm though. So far they just haven't met their potential

Same here. Though maybe the true Mastermind might be plotting something having to do with the Grimm though, considering how she had him steal all those Dust Crystals, and the Dust Crystals were original intended to give humanity more of a fighting chance against the Grimm. Who knows?
I'd love to see more other types of Grimm be encountered though.
Either way, I can't wait for the next episode.
