# About me
Ah well, about me.
I'm a relic on this site and I'm trying very hard to stay down. I'm a very different man than when I was here before but even this account is a shout out to those bygone days. There was a character I wrote once upon a time who let others call him Jack Nightly. He was as large as the night, a defender of fears and beauties. His voice was like a jackal, mad and condescending, but he was a good sort all the same. Jack was a poet of unrelenting rhyme and a friend to all in dark times and he was once who I wanted to be. Then there's me, fittingly I created this account when I stopped wanting to be Jack and wanted to be someone humbler and smaller but I abandoned it for about a year when I realized I didn't want to do a lot of poetry anymore. I say fittingly because Litwick Kindly is more of the person I am today. Horrible naming conventions aside, I imagined this guy to be a lit candle in a warm room, a kind light for a traveler in the gloom of night and perhaps that is the person I want to be now kind and lit and lovely.

I was thinking of you today, and saw it was your birthday! I know life has slotted us together and then divided us onto our different paths, but I still hold nothing but respect and gratitude for you. I won't takeΒ up too much of your time here; I just wanted you to know you're loved and appreciated!
I hope this day brings such joy and love that it will always beg fond remembrance! If it doesn't, well, you have plenty more to look forward to, and to etch into the highlight reel of your brilliant, burning life!
Best wishes, and happy birthday! Be well x

So I stand corrected. I was in fact a day late. I have no idea what DeviantART was saying, but it was the phone version.. and that's still a little wonky sometimes. But I wanted to wish the best sentiments to one of the brightest and most soothing candles in this world. Thank you for extending guidance and warmth to those around you, and thank you for being just exactly who you are. You are an absolute gem, and I adore you. You are one of the few souls who brings genuine light into my life, and I will be eternally grateful for the perspective and care you constantly give. It's a wonder how someone can have a heart and mind so big and wonderful! I hope that this week goes marvelously for you, and that love and smiles light your way. I also wanted to say that maybe letting other people light your wick sometimes in the moments you cannot, well, it might not be such a bad thing.
I love you, my dear friend, and thank you for all you have done. For me and for others. You are a gift - a treasure - and I hope everyone who knows you realizes and cherishes you for that. Have a splendid day and please accept this big virtual hug I hope you are well~
