Aw thanks! Haha yeah I've kind of drawn away from anime and such, even though I do like it, I wanted to mature my art with my own self :3

I think that is something everyone strives for. Breaking away from the mainstream and getting into that groove that makes you comfortable being who you are as an artist. I know that's why I admire a lot of different artists. They were able to develop a style all there own, and that's something I hope I can find one day too.

I'm doing pretty good. I've been able to hang out with a few of my friends that I really wanted to hang out with during school.
I'll be working at the post office for the month of July and beginning of August.
I would say overall that my summer is pretty good so far. :D (Big Grin)

Just working at the post office, but I'm going to try and hang out with my friends more often than when school was in. Work took up all of my free time when I was in school during the year.... So I want to get caught up.
I am down to 2 best friends now... My other friend just moved to Texas 2 weeks ago... But now that she is gone we talk all the time on email. It's a little weird.

That's good. I've been changing up my style as well. Trying to get more realistic with depth. Adding shadows would be a nice skill to learn. :) (Smile)

shadows isn't a hard thing to do if you concentrate on the angle and shape...do you take art classes?

I was in an art class, and we talked about lighting sources, but not really about the shadow that was being cast.

I've kind of been doing that all my life, but it just takes months to get the right result and I'm a procrastinator and can't be patient to save my life.
