# About me
Hi, my real name is Martin Waite and I live in the UK. I'm a graduate from the University of Teesside and earned a degree in computer animation in 2010. The core programs I use are Photoshop, Toon boom Studio, Softimage and Blender (RIP Softimage). I'm currently working as a cleaner for Sodexo at the York Nestle factory and have done so from my hazy GCSE days up to the present day *sigh*. I do plan on a professional career in the future, either in animation or illustration, but I'm in a bit of a rut and don't really know where to start. So anyway, if anyone has any friendly advice for me, that would be great! But in the meantime, I plan on using Deviantart as a portal to showcase my best work.
My ultimate goal is to someday set up an animation studio and collaborate with a team of animators/writers to develop an original project. I'm also an anime lover, and particularly enjoy work by visionaries such as Hayao Miyazaki. he is the most inspiring figure I know of, although I never show it in my gallery.
