Not to be rude or anything but where did you get that clay?

Most of what I do is a mixture of Super Sculpey and Super Sculpey firm. It's a polymer clay so you have to bake or boil it. You can get it at most arts and craft stores - Michaels usually has a few boxes and its not very expensive.
I saw you're using craft foam on your customs, I've used foam on a few pieces like the Western Pinkie and Smart Cookie's feathers. It's nice for thin details to retain flex sometimes.
Try out different materials and don't be afraid to ask for advice!
