Hi my name is Wesley and I'm currently 13 years old.
I've always wanted to be an artist or author and digital art really opened a lot of doors for me. Coincidentally, Digital Art and Deviant Art have the same initials
I think that the only way you can define art is "self expression, where there are no rules or mistakes". It doesn't have to be a cornucopia of color on a smooth canvas, it can be a vase smashed on the floor, perhaps to express anger, or loss?
However, even as modern ways blur the true meaning of art, it will always be the most beautiful way of expressing ones feelings, and I thank God that I have this avenue to vent my emotions.
