what photoshop technique did you use for your dev id?

hy.I only smoothed the skin.Open the photo you want.Duplicate layer.Then go to Filter-> Noise-> Median.The biggest the number the more porcelain skin.After this go to History and at the median entry click the square in front.after that click the action above median.Then click the history brush tool and play with the skin.You can change the opacity and flow of the brush somewhere up the monitor.I hope I helped.

Oh my gosh! I love you! I have spent all these years messing with a Gaussian blur and then erasing away to get the bits that should not be blurred eg eyes and defining features. Whilst this has its advantages, your technique will certainly have its advantages in a lot of photos!
