Hi everyone, I'm incredibally new here, and I'm still trying to figure out my way around the place.
Intro: First off, my name is Matthew, but I'd prefer to be called Matty or Matt - it's entirely upto you -, I'm 20 years of age and I live in Melbourne Australia.
My main interest is Photography, I've been into it for about 2 years or so now, i started off with a Canon IXUS 30, which i out-grew within 2 months, so I saved and saved and finally got my Canon DSLR 300D (Rebel) early last year. Since then, my pocket has pretty much always been empty, buying new lenses, tripods (i tend to break mine :\), filters, polerizers, and the vast range of other brilliant things to add to my tiny collection.
Career wise, at the moment i'm a security guard, though I'm gripping onto the idea that one day, my photography will be my main source of income. Heres hoping.
My main interest within photography (subject wise) is Automotive, I'm a born car nut, so it kind of goes hand in hand. I've shot for a few companys before, nothing more than contract, and i regularly shoot for my local car club during their events - always lots of fun -.
Second to that would be People/Portrait/Candid, then anything i can point the camera at, haha.
So anyway, I hope you enjoy my photos, feel free to comment as nicely or as harsly as your heart desires as I take everyones advice seriously on the idea that i can only get better from here on in.
