That would be pretty cool, but impossible, considering it's not a monarchy anymore (and I wasn't born there, even though I am a citizen).

yeah, when i first saw it i was like what is she thinking? (for that reason). i wasn't born there either, i was born in chicago then moved to vegas :\

I was born here too, my parents moved here when they were like 25 so I grew up speaking Polish I want to live there at some point, (I've only gotten to visit three times) I'd LOVE to study abroad when I'm in college.

My mom was born in Poland and came to Chicago in her early 20's. Then she met my dad (who was obviously American) and got married a few years later. I was raised speaking Polish as well I'd love to visit, I'm sure it's a beautiful country! You're lucky to have been able to see it XP My cousin is studying there now for college :3 It'd be cool to study there, but I have my eyes on somewhere in England. I heard though that if you're a Polish citizen you can go for free, so if that's true I might go there depending on whether or not i can afford college in England (on my way to a scholarship though! )

I love it there, it's awesome! I went to summer camp there last year I went to Polish school on Saturdays for the past four years here at home and this year I'm working there to help teach the little kids Polish.
WHOA, England is my other first choice for studying abroad

I used to go to Polish school on Saturdays too but I haven't gone for two years or so because it was cancelled I can understand Polish perfectly, I'm pretty good speaking and reading it, but I couldn't write in Polish to save my life :'D

Same with me, I suck at writing We have this test in New Jersey called the Regents Test, it's done by a university and if you pass it you can get credit for school... it's mostly reading comprehension, but there's also two essays and you need an 85% or higher to pass... I just barely passed it with an 86% because I sucked at the writing.

Haha I get that kind of luck all the time X3 I hate writing parts in exams and such, they expect you to be so detailed with your answer. I'm okay with writing short essays (like research), but when it comes to a long somewhat personal essay, it starts off decent then turns into a rant :'D and don't even get me started on stories, I'm absolutely horrible at coming up with plots. I usually only have characters and scraps to a plot XP

That's exactly the same with me! The sucky part was that both the essays were sort of creative writing (you had a topic, but had to write a story about it) and, for God knows why, I can't write creatively in Polish. My brain just goes "NOPE NOPE NOPE." On the bright side, because I passed, if I ever want to study in Poland, I don't have to take language classes!

I know right! Learning Polish really does come in handy! :'D When I was in Polish school, people were always all OMG YOU WRITE SO NICE! (I'm good at cursive) but when it came to writing stories, my brain was just oh look at the time! Must get going now!
