Im on such a high today, i saw my favourite band last night, playing a set that was 3 hours long! which isnt that long considering each song is at least ten minutes long. . .

It was Dream Theater, but they are the masters, the only thing i was annoyed about was that they kept on showing the drummer, keyboard player and gutarist on the projector screens but hardly ever the bass player, and i play bass. And the bassist in DT is really awesome- he plays a 6 string

Hmm and yea i kinda enjoy the college, but im generally always stressed out because im doing 5 subjects, and some people in my physics class are lil sexists, but hey what can you do

Ahh, Dream Theater. I've heard little bits here and there, but never managed to get any whole albums to explore. I liked what I heard, though
I play tenor sax, percussion, keyboards, and drum programing. I used to play in a world music group called Unida Rhythmique, and I still play with various african musicians from time to time. I also play dub, glitchy electronica and some more chilled out bits and bobs. I'm better at record production then songwritting, though.

That sounds quite cool and you play alot, im only a 4-string bass player (i used to play double bass but there is a shortage of good teachers) and i play cello. Ive been in a couple bands and its never really worked out i think its difficult at this age because people are still changing so much. It always starts off well but dwindles after a month or so.
If you are going to get your hands on a DT album you should try and find Scenes from a Memory. Its a full rock opera, you will have to work out the story though. It took me ages, by the way.

What do I do? Well, at the moment, nothing. I'm interupting my uni studies for a year, and at the moment, I haven't found any decent work. I'm studying Music Tech in Leicester.
