Alexandre Doucet, 27 years old, psychology teacher, death metal/hardcore singer, friend of my friends, lover of my girlfriend, son of my mom and dad... These are about the things that I am. I checked out the video of Brand, and I'm truly amazed at the way you use ink. I bought ink and brushes a while ago but mostly used it to fill large black surfaces. Do you use a lot of water with it to give this effect, and can you do this on any kind of paper?

This is a very interesting technique. For the paper i use bristol paper but when im sketching and practicing i use normal white paper. As for the ink you must try yourself. Some artists put ink in water and some take brush with ink and get just a bit of water. It depends of what you want to accomplish how much or little you use water. All this reminds me of water colors. Watch marydoodles on yt. She uses watercolors in interesting way you may learn something. Im now preparing new video. I think you will like it. Try your ink and send me mesage what you think... cheers :) (Smile)
