I will be going to AX, yes! It's the one con I go to every year. I'm not sure what all I will do, but I definitely plan to do my warboy again. (I'd also like to do pre-serum Steve Rogers, but I still have to find/make everything for it, so that might not happen. Do they even make army pants in tiny bird person sizes?) I'm considering doing my warboy for two days despite how long it takes to put on, 'cause it's my absolute FAVORITE cosplay I've done so far...and I'm really tempted to just go ahead and shave my head for it this time. I figure it would be worth it, and last well enough for two days. Most likely saturday and sunday, so monday can be a lazy day.

Of course. ;^; And I agree...I seem to have a weird sleep schedule that would do much better with longer days.

I'm actually not sure what all I'll wear this year...I haven't gotten anything new that really lends itself to generally accepted creepiness while still being something I can work in easily. I think all I really have that is new is wigs. >_<' Maybe I'll get around to buying a new labcoat and dirty up my current one to make it like Worth's (or do a little Re-Animator Herbert West before that, hehehe~).

ALWAYS UP FOR COSPLAY depending on what it is, 'cause the majority of what I do is crappy closet cosplay, and I don't have very many I can do that actually look very good. XD

Oh man I kinda want to watch Re-Animator again, now that you've said that, haha.

As for looking male-ish...what do you find the most telling thing you need to change is? I don't know much about changing how your face appears (I know haircuts or styles can help, but I don't really understand the specifics very well), and wide hips can't be shrunken down (*shakefist!*), but there are things you can wear and ways you can stand to make it less obvious. If it's your chest, you just need a binder, and I can give you a few links for that. ^_^

The first problem can be dealt with easily enough with a binder. These are the two sites I've bought from:

[link] - this one, the binders are slip-on stretchy, and can be a little difficult to get on and off, but are pretty effective. The slight stretchiness of them helps them be a bit more comfortable, but potentially less effective. The long ones are prone to rolling up around your waist, too, so they require constant adjustment (or just fold them up yourself, so you don't have to worry about it). The shorter one might work well, but I haven't personally tried it.

[link] - the one I bought from here has a velcro closure on the side. It's a lot easier to get on and off, but takes a little practice getting the velcro lined up right. Unfortunately, with it being on the side, it makes the neckline crooked, so I have to wear it with high-neckline shirts, or just deal with having a crooked "undershirt," haha. I believe they sell lower neckline types, though, which would help with that issue. The one I got was "2nd Gen. Jersey Mesh Short Binder-Black." It's not stretchy, so putting it on too tight might make breathing a little more difficult than with a stretchy one, but so long as you leave room for expanded lungs (and don't plan to, say, go work out or anything, haha) it shouldn't be a problem.

...Oh man that turned out longer than I thought it would. XD And...curses, I had another big, long thing written out about clothes that was mostly me guessing about stuff, and then I decided to see if I had any links that would help, and I found one. XD Ah, well. While not all of it might be relevant, the Body, Clothes, Voice, and Mannerisms sections have information that could help. It also has a little bit about cheaper alternatives for binding, if you can't order online. [link]

I've been pretty good. Work's starting to get busy, but it's October, and I'm having a blast dressing up and spooking people. >:3 I'm also tempted to do a Loki crossplay, since I realized I have a shirt similar to the one he wears once, but I don't have a jacket (or scarf) like his, and my hair's too long, and bluh. :< Ah, well.

And you don't need to be sorry for not getting the chance to come online! T^T I don't mind the slow-paced conversation, and know that it's not your fault at all. I feel bad that you don't get the opportunity, though. ;_; I know how much it sucks.

No problem! I only learned about binders a year ago or so, but have taken to wearing mine pretty often. I prefer them over bras, haha. XD

:< But...if it's "feel bad" as in "guilty," it isn't your fault so you need not shoulder the bad feelings...and if it's "feel bad" as in, um, "longing" or some such thing (utterly failing at finding whatever word I'd intended to use), it isn't something that requires apologies. *hug*
