Doing well myself. Out at the lodge for the month now. Watching it for the fiancee's grandfolks. After that, back to selling her books from in town while she works on them out here. Hope to have our cabin built this summer, and all that. Will be fun if we manage it.

To all of Eric's friends: I've been in touch with him over the phone, and he's fine. Just out of money. He said he should be on the Internet again next month.

I miss him too. I'm lucky in that we're pretty close and exchanged numbers before he lost Internet, so we talk every week or so. I'll keep posting updates on his page, so you can keep checking back here to see how he's doing.
Right now, he's fine except for his foot - he somehow injured his leg while hiking, something about straining or tearing a ligament, and his doctor said he has to stay off it most of the time for four to six weeks. No surgery needed, no serious injury, but still, four to six weeks! He's pretty heartbroken at not being able to go hiking for that long - he loves the outdoors - but at least he's going to be okay. Amanda (Eric's mate) is fine as well.
